News: Fox: Tony Romo arrested in Milwaukee for OWI

Hate to be the "I told you so" guy, but....

I told you so regarding CBS using this as an excuse to demote Romo (and maybe even cut his contract)

Now it comes out that he refused to take a test after he was arrested.
I was giving him the benefit of the doubt but this is starting to look a little more like he was driving drunk.

My son-in-law's sister was killed by a drunk driver with three convictions for DUI.

The devastation this has on a family cannot be measured by bystanders on a football form that have not experienced it.

That said I will wait for the rest of the facts but if it comes out that Tony Romo was driving drunk I hope he's strung up by his test tackles
Dak too, right?

He was convicted of drunk driving.

No he wasn't. He was fully acquitted.
On a technicality.

You have convicted Romo on pretty much exactly the same circumstances.

Prescott was.

Pulled over for a minor traffic violation.

Officer determined investigating for alcohol consumption was prudent.

Field sobriety test administered which led to the officer's determination that a breathalyzer test was prudent.

Two breathalyzer tests administered, which for some reason produced an "insufficient sample" and an "invalid sample".

The traffic violation was dismissed because the officer was, "not certified to operate radar equipment at the time."

What was that you were saying about highly trained officers yesterday?

Romo hasn't been convicted either. My lord please stop, you're just simply wrong. Arrested doesn't mean convicted.

Weak deflection attempt.

You have convicted Romo in this thread. I never meant the court has convicted him.

Prescott wasn't "fully acquitted" in the sense that the evidence exonerated him. He was found not guilty based on a lack of evidence due to the failure of the officers' involved to properly investigate.

You also have stated that officers are highly trained to determine impairment and should be trusted. The evidence points to the opposite.

The point of my response is to point out that you are wrong about Prescott being "fully acquitted" in the true sense of the phrase, and you are wrong about blindly trusting the professionalism of officers. Also that you contradict yourself by convicting Romo based on the officers initial investigation while exonerating Prescott even though the initial investigation came to the same conclusion and there is zero evidence to prove he wasn't intoxicated. Only failures in the testing process.

My lord, at least try to pay attention and maintain some degree of objectivity.
