Citing the Hill contract is silly when the last year of that contract is fake and the only reason that it seems to be 30m. The actual highest paid WR in the NFL is at 25m per year. Realistically Lamb probably comes in somewhere around that number. Diggs probably resets the corner market as well.

Diggs has a couple of bad habits that have to be corrected before sitting down with him to get a contract done. 2023 season is going to be the make or break season for him.

The problem is the Cowboys always wait too long and instead of setting the market, they let the market set them.
The smart move is to sign Lamb now. Because Justin Jefferson's deal is going to do for WR's what Jalen Hurts' deal just did for QB's.

I have to disagree on this one. After this year Diggs hits the open market and you get into a bidding war with other teams. I think you either sign him now long term or you trade him for a massive haul during the draft. The worst thing you can do is push out that contract another year IMO as his price only goes up from here.

If he’s trying to reset the market I’d trade him.
At the end of the day he’s still a corner.
I think he’s a good player and he gets over scrutinized by media and fans for giving up plays.
But highest paid corner in football? Get out of here. See if you can get a 1st for him and do that deal.
Go draft Joey Porter jr and be done with it.

Yeah I actually forgot. HE had a better year in coverage. I don't think he's a top 5 corner yet so to make that money I going to be tough.
