Cowboys willing to trade, no resources are untouchable

We need new blood very bad. I’d be selling right now, not buying. I’d be loading up on picks. I’d be planning on moving on from Steele and Diggs after the season. I’d even trade Pickens for a first if I could. I don’t see them signing him with bland, Diggs, lamb, Dak all making big money. Even Clark goes to 20 mil next year. Just don’t see how we keep him
Me too I’d definitely be moving on from diggs and Steele. I think we’re going to be too good to get Bain and and Caleb Downs but we should be good for to LB or corner or even top DT providing Jerry don’t let the picks burn a hole in them pockets

Isn’t Pickens a 1 year rental? Or you talking in season trade ?

“I traded my best player for two late firsts and a 30 year old DT”

“But now I have o pass rush and this team I assembled sucks.”

“Ok boys we’re open for business”

You could just say you’re an inept GM, Jerry.

Sounds like the Cowboys are buyers when they should be sellers.

I think they’re absolutely moving on from Diggs and Steele after the season.

We’re so screwed.

Can’t wait for Kenny Clark 2.0 and watching the Jerry apologists go into contortions to justify the complete waste of the only redeeming elements of the Micah trade.

I don't agree. Jerry has shown that the only way he'll improve his roster is through the draft and trades. If teams with some top talent want to get picks for players rather than losing them in free agency, I'm all for it.

Otherwise, we can look forward to another offseason of acquistions like Elam, Murray, Sanborn, Turner ... with a few decent hits. Trading a third for Pickens has been our best move so far. Since we don't seem to be very good with picking second-rounders, I'm OK with swapping that pick for a proven player, and even the late firsts if we're not going to use them to trade up to draft our next franchise QB.

Once we get players here, we're willing to pay them, but we're not willing to bring them in as free agency at high-dollar values.

The lack of awareness and vision from the Cowboys' front office is perplexing. Even if the defense somehow makes a marginal improvement, they are not good enough to make a deep run. Why waste resources?

Their strategy is to trade for a wash-up first-round pick, hoping they can go back to their college days performance. Look at some of their latest Cowboys trades:

Kenneth Murray
Kaiir Elam
Trey Lance
Noah Igbinoghene

They never trade for players in their prime but instead for players on their way out of the league or players that never pan out.
Pickens

Yeah, just what this team needs, another wasted fourth round pick on a Jonathan Mingo or Trey Lance trade

One could argue that they are as good as the other teams in the east.

Folks will get excited by this but the ownership are clueless as to how to actually improve the team.

Look forward to them making rash decisions.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones continues to express that they are open for business to improve the roster. Jones on @1053thefan said "there's nothing untouchable" when it comes to the picks they received in the Micah Parsons trade.

"If we can improve our team and it makes sense for what we give up in the future, all of it's there. We have major, major, major resources that we wouldn't have had had we not made that trade. ... I promise you, yours truly or anybody associated with the Cowboys has got our eyes really opened to ways we can help this defense and certainly don't want to preclude anything on offense, either.

"There's nothing untouchable in our resources to help our team. And there's no way that I'm at a point right now to where I would not do something because of where we are into the season, six games. I would go as early as I would if we were talking three games back."

Oh my. We are doomed

Who is that 1st round bust that is still playing like *** that the Cowboys can trade a 4th for?

Trade pickens for more picks. Team is mot going anywhere.
