Lucas looked good. He may make the team due to injuries.
Yep. We've been friends since we were kids. He actually coached with me right after college and then kicked with the Rhein Fire before going to the Raiders.Hmmm, the 80s. Leo Arquaz?

Maybe one of the recent workouts will be a Practice Squad QB.
Goodell won't allow Heath to play offense.I'm shocked the team hasn't asked Jeff Heath to get ready for some TE action.
I like his grit in the last game. Definitely a baller. Hope he makes the PSQ.Taryn Christion

I watched some college game footage of QB Taryn Christion.
- He didn't look bad.
- His OLine was terrible.
- He definitely preferred to pass than run.
- He had a TE that went to the NFL.
- Once the TE was gone, it was ugly with passes often bouncing off the chest of receivers.
- I have no idea about his mental makeup with regards to functioning in an NFL offense.
- He did seem to have some "moxie" that I have not seen from QB Mike White.

It would make all game non-competitive blowouts by the Cowboys.
You guys from Harlingen?Yep. We've been friends since we were kids. He actually coached with me right after college and then kicked with the Rhein Fire before going to the Raiders.
Centers name was always coming up in broadcasts of his games. Killed us a couple of times. Too bad he didn't play for us.Best pass receiving FB ever and one of the best receivers of any RB.
He went to try out for a couple of years before hooking up with the Raiders. I was playing golf with him when his agent called him with his first big contract. We left in the middle of the round, had a beer in the club house to celebrate and he went home to tell his parents. He was so excited. He's a good guy. My daughter have one of his daughters piano lessons this summer.Nice. Did he like playing in Germany?
I wondered why there was a bit of a time gap on PFR website between graduation date and playing for the Raiders.
After some more summary checking, he was pretty good at SFASU. 3 time All-Southland Conference honors.
My 'Jacks may not be frequently placed in the halls of NFL glory, but a few have some good impact and glory.
Your friend, Arquaz, holds the record of making the most punts in an NFL game with 16! Bet his leg was iced down after that game!
Yessir!You guys from Harlingen?
I think he was named MVP that year!! Lol not good when the punter is your MVP. The Raiders still fly him in for special occasions. He was at Grudens press conference when he was hired. He has some great Gruden stories!!Nice. Did he like playing in Germany?

My Alma mater, SFASU! Go 'Jacks!
I bet he does! MVP - more notes of distinction! Well, they also had Ray Guy, so two good punters.I think he was named MVP that year!! Lol not good when the punter is your MVP. Beautiful campus. Good academics. Known as a suitcase college. Lots of students go home for the weekend. That part of East Texas is beautiful.I dropped my son off there for his Freshman year just this last Saturday.
I was having lunch with Jeff Gossett in Austin a few years back, he told me he had punted for the Raiders. I asked him, my buddy Leo punted for them, do you know him? He looked at me and said, yeah, he took my job! Oops!!! He laughed, I called Leo and he and Jeff talked for a while. It was funny.I bet he does! MVP - more notes of distinction! Yeah, probably not. Still some interesting things to do in the area if you stay there. Hopefully, he studies on the weekends, right? The East Texas highways are not fast for East - West driving. I hit a 7 point buck going through that area on my way home for Thanksgiving Day one year. We're 7 hours away so he won't be coming home for many weekends. Yeah the whole area is beautiful. I'll be heading back late September to meet up with him for a camping/kayaking trip in Davy Crockett NF.
