Listed day to day does not sound that bad. On the other hand LB Tim Dobbins and LB Will Smith I could see one of them being singed with Durant out for the season

OG Baca 6th round pick by Vikings in 2013. Ended up on the Bengals 53 man roster in 2014 with 4 games active. Was released from the Bengals practice squad earlier this month.

LB Dobbins played 8 years in the NFL with 22 starts. He was injured and released in training camp this year.

LB Will Smith was a Cowboys 2014 7th round pick. He looked like something was wrong with him in the preseason because he couldn't run like he did in college.

Neither Baca or Smith seem like players that would be options to be active this week. They would be more developmental type plays.

Dobbins is the veteran and if healthy might be a legit backup LB.

Smith is not a LB.

There are two Will Smiths in the NFL. I think this one is the LB that the Cowboys drafted in the 7th round this year.

The other Will Smith (DE) didn't play in 2013 and has not played in 2014.

I don't know a vet in Robbins should be able to pick this defense up and has the experience of playing at this level.

Kory Toomer from the Seahawks. And Toomer was just promoted to the 53 man roster this week. Not sure if it was because of his skill or simply because the guy in front of him they let go simply sucked.

But for whatever reason the organization didn't see anything in Toomer.

Dobbins has been more of a 3-4 ILB most of his career. Not sure about the fit.

I wonder if they'll give Dobbins some athletic socks with this equipment for the tryout, and if he then says that giving him clothing set him free and then he goes around telling everybody 'You cannot harm Mike McCord.' And then if he makes the team and ends up making a bad play, if he goes into the locker room and starts hitting his head against a locker or a brick wall to atone for it.

Probably not, but that'd be weird if that happened, right?
