Fast w/ good hands, but just can't grasp NFL route running. He's a track guy playing football, BTW.

Still, seems as if he'd be useful if for nothing else than running deep stuff.

Cowboys have a Denzel Mims fetish. Wasnt it twice they considered trading for him
Of course. Jerry is fixated on tall and fast. That's the reason why the majority of the mid/late round DB's and DL's we take don't work out. Jerry doesn't study players in the draft, and so he has no clue as to what lateral agility even is.

There you go. As I was saying recently, a tall and fast WR who can consistently run deep and stretch the field.

All we have are WRs who run lateral agility routes. None truly can consistently run deep and be a deep threat who can help open the field up underneath for the other lateral running WRs.

Run deep so we can sail one over his head?

My guess is that this is about PS depth, not finding starters.

With Cooks out multiple games, Flournoy will be active on game days and that means they are down a roster (counting PS) wide receiver.

This time of the season there are going to be several wide receivers that failed to make regular season rosters for other teams. In some cases, it's because they did not make an impression and in others, they were simply insurance additions or were added to preseason rosters just in case someone else got hurt.

I don't know if this player is worth signing, but I am glad to see they are being proactive in trying to find more receivers.
Yes, that’s definitely what this is. MM‘s teams seem to always do well when racked by injuries because of interests like this one.

LOL I'll never forget there was this Eagles fan who wanted the Eagles to draft this kid instead of Jalen Hurts. It was like a 10 minute meltdown after the pick including this dude drooling all over the place!!
Philthy fans. Go figure.

CeeDee said something about jump balls, so bringing in a 6'3 WR may fit the scheme.

Problem is...we don't have a QB that can get him the ball deep. Our guy constantly under throws the deep route.

So Turpin is having coffee watching the stupid Deal Dash commercial this morning after his coming out party, then is this? "We got Mims for a cup of coffee after I had my best game as a Cowboy."?
