With the 2nd best record in the NFL at 10-3 the Cowboys would be in first place in every other division but their own.

Impressive and were doing it 2 years in a row making the playoffs. Winning is all that matters right?
Vikings are 10-3 but Cowboys hold the tie breaker.

49ers have 10 wins bit have played an extra game.

Why not? They have a top ten running game and OL, a top 5 pass rush, a top 20 kicker, punter, and ST, and have several young players that could be studs. Parsons, Lawrence, Clark, Diggs, and Donovan Wilson would start on any team. They lost by 9 in Philly with a backup QB who threw three picks, they already beat Cincy, and does any reasonable person truly believe they’d have no chance with a Bucs rematch?

I can answer that:

-The strengths of the Eagles and the Niners is running the football. Run D is our weakness.
-We are an offense that likes to run the football and our pass game works off of that. Eagles and especially the Niners that is their strength. Niners D is the best in the business
-We will be on the road against both teams
-Niners have our number and are a better coached team and they are poised where the Cowboys are not. Often go to sleep for halves or games.
-You cant be serious thinking the Bengals team we beat is anything like THIS version of the Bengals team. They are NOT.

Bucs rematch, yes I like our chances.

That even if Dallas was ahead of Philly, the Cowboys are just barely ahead of 2 other division leaders and the the Cowboys have 4 more games to play...

Im not sure that applies to my point.

If we can’t regard our past win against Cincy as a positive, past losses are meaningless also. Can’t have it both ways.

Cowboy fans are funny. So I argued all season that the Cowboys got better letting guys like Cooper go and people said we would be worse. The majority of this site. Fast forward to 12/17.....the team has the 2nd best record....most consider them to be the 3rd best team in the NFC.....but now y'all say if t hey don't win the SB its a failure or "bust" lol. Its a joke. You guys hyped up Philly all year. Its their SB to lose. So how is anything less than a NFC Championship a failure?

Good question.

If we were the second seed then I could agree. But the fact with 2nd best record (which we haven’t fulfilled just yet , Minn could still get it) and get the 5th seed it complicates our expectations.

It’s difficult to expect the 5th seed to win two playoff games on the road to reach championship game .

Yea, Bengals are still a quality win.

But if we want look deeper it does sometimes matter when you play someone . Fortunately we caught them early. Just like we caught Detroit before they caught fire. Same with Wash.

No doubt those wins look much better than they did then.

And to think that at the beginning of the season this was consider one of the worst if not the worst division in the NFL. Well that is what the media said.

Hopefully, we’ve caught fire since Tampa and Philly. I regard GB as a fluke.

Didn’t the Eagles beat us in the NFCCG that year? Not a good memory.
We were the two best teams in the NFC. They narrowly beat us out for the division by a point differential tie breaker, and hosted the NFCCG game as a result. They won. Our offense was frozen in that cold.

The point is that trolls who complain about the QB or the team are basically a running joke as the team has the 2nd best record in the NFL.

Isnt your motto that "its all about wins and not stats when it comes to the QB"?

So what are you complaining about? Cowboys are 10-3 and 6-1 since Dak returned.

Maybe your just full of it? But I think we already knew that.

Sure, but there is reality and perspective. The Cowboys dont have a championship caliber squad. They just dont. They would have to beat Bucs, Eagles, Niners, Bengals/KC to win it all. They just arent good enough to do that.
