I reviewed all of the offensive plays.

Many passes that appeared inaccurate were actually due to WRs not being where they shouĺd have been.

CeeDee was running a crossing route but turned it upfield about the time Dak released the ball. That made it easy for the DB to undercut it.

Another play CeeDee on a slant. Dak has to throw between defenders. CeeDee is expected to read the 2nd defender "sit down" at the break point but instead kept running toward the 2nd defender. It was impossible for Dak to throw directly to him due to the 2nd defender. That made it appear that the pass was off target and behind CeeDee but itvwas the only spot where Dak could throw it.

If Dak had Mike Irvin and Witten in their prime, the Cowboys would have easily won this game.

On the flip side, Aikman in his prime could not have won this game with the WRs & Schultz failing.

Bingo....... not sure many realize Dak throws to a spot which is why he has commented many times about his WRs being where they suppose to be. So your take about experienced receivers is dead on. Likewise, Aikman could hit his guys between the numbers 9 out of 10 times.

As stated in another thread, this played a part in his lack of confidence.

Dak got the job because he didn't cause turnovers. He doesn't throw low percentage passes because in the back of his mind he is constantly thinking about turnovers. That's how he's got the jobs throughout his career. He questions or overthinks every throw because he's scared of turnovers. It's been there all along and nobody can see this.

Sad but true.

What been said by former players on the Cowboys show , Barry Church and Stanback is that the Wrs were having trouble getting off the press Sunday night. That forces Dak to hold the ball longer.

Why did it take David Archer's tweet to shed light on our pathetic WR corp? I called it bottom 5 in the league 3 weeks ago, and took a ration of S from quite a few on here...pretty sad when TB's #4 is better than anything we have. We weren' gonna do a damn thing this year, even if Dak played in all 17 games...I've given up all hope....don't even care anymore.

I disagree! The offensive coordinator develops a game plan and calls plays but the NFL QB is the one that is supposed to read the defense and adjust. He also has to adjust his snap count and can change plays at any time. Just remember the offense usually runs scripted plays on the opening drive and than it rolls into the lap of the QB. The word on Dak is he likes to throw short within 10 yards between the numbers and when you watch the Dallas offense it's almost like Dak doesn't throw mid to deep crossing routes. His WRs always seem to stop and try and settle into a zone that's open and I suspect it's because he struggles hitting WRs in stride across the deeper middle. Sure he throws a good deep ball knowing he has the sidelines to help him from giving up an int if he is inaccurate.
You can’t turn **** to sugar though. If you have a outdated playbook that nearly everyone says is easy to defend….what is a qb to do? Create plays on the fly?

I've said this over, and over and over again!!! They always bring up these other great quarterbacks, but they conveniently leave out who their offensive coordinators are compared to ours. Coaching still matters ladies and gentlemen!!
Exactly. They say Dak is not good or outside of top 10 but want him to overcome piss poor OC, offensive linemen and receiving group….

Interesting that your post right after this you say you aren't making excuses yet here you are using Moore as an excuse.
That’s not a excuse that’s a fact. I’m. It arguing whether or not Dak sucks. We’ve done that for years now. Neither side can be swayed. I’m speaking on Moore coaching the same playbook that we all as fans agreed it was trash but I guess it’s no longer trash since Dak is the qb?

If you are a QB, you should be able to read a defense. Josh and Patrick do it all of the time. When a played call will not work you audible. If it breaks down you improvise. The greats have always been able to do this.
Then why didn’t Aaron Rodgers do it on Sunday? Mahomes and Allen have masterminds behind them.

So you have the playbook and read minds, OK. I’d take a 80 odd year old Staubach to put up more points, come on get real.

He did all of that talking and played terribly. The Oline was not great, but he had adequate time to get rid of the ball and throw better passes.

Receivers have to get open and the entire offense has to stop committing penalties every other drive.

The receivers were open at times. Dak has to be better. Yes, the Oline was penalized, but not on every play.

This is an awful stat when used in a vacuum.
It doesn't tell us when a player is doubled or shaded to and it doesn't tell us what the player is doing on his non-targets.
Mike Evans was among the worst graded players in this stat.

What is really indicates is Dak treated CeeDee like WR1 and gave him chances even when well covered.
And he only threw it to Noah brown when wide open.
