"A player who holds out during training camp, which opens in July, can be fined $50,000 per day, which is up from $30,000 under the previous collective bargaining agreement. The previous CBA also allowed teams to forgive accumulated fines once a deal was reached, but that is no longer an option unless the absent player is on a rookie contract."

Nothing to see here.....yet.......but as they say " where there's smoke, there's something getting ready to explode, obliterate and wipe out all human and non human form in the area".

LOL, i can actually see Stephen in Jerry's ear telling him how they cannot give in to players who are still under contract demanding more money a la Zeke . Even if he is an All Pro and possible HOF. But its not a good look for them. And especially now when they have all these other contracts that need priority. May have to bake a bigger pie and be creative on how they cut it up. I know twiddle dee and twiddle dum can think of something.

Trusting Jerry and alligator arms to work this out is too much to ask right? Maybe he needs to get arrested and go to Cabo to get what he wants?
