I never really saw the Pam Grier thing a lot of guys do, though while I was Googling the movie Coffy, I did see one picture that gave me a little better understanding.

I saw a LOT of blaxploitation films growing up. My mother was strict but she like her movies too. Our small town had a one-screen theater and she used to take me for late night showings (only time they would show them), especially when my father worked the graveyard shift. I gotta say. Coffy was very memorable.

Good memories. I miss my mom.

And my preference are images without embedded text like "Getty" in them. Especially not "Getty" shots. I aimed for royalty free pics. Not getting @Reality pissed off with me posting royalty fee use images on his site.

That is a good example of my even dimensions for images requirement I have talked about before. That Oshima image's size is 397X612 pixels. I could have cropped it to what I thought looked good to 397X397, which would have been perfect for reduction to 250X250 (my standard size for posting images in these threads). One problem though, along with the Getty image of course.

I always sort of felt like Batman wasn't a true superhero, since he had no superpowers, but one could argue that his superpower is his will and tenacity, far greater than that of average humans.

I have always look at it from an abilities perspective. Flying. Enhanced strength. Telepathy. Unquestionably, those are abilities beyond what normal humans possess in the fictional world.

Even so, they are still abilities. Batman has an trained elevated intellect, physical prowess, extreme emotional control and personal will (like you said). He 'can do' what normal humans cannot. Batman has always been a superhero in my opinion for that reason.

Now I may say something different if anyone asks me whether The Question is a superhero or not lol.

Talking about The Big Bang Theory got me thinking about its cast. Since this is a thread about celebrities...

Kaley Cuoco received a large share of attention on the show. Understandably so. However, Melissa Rauch (Bernadette) dressed down because of her character. In my opinion, she is underrated by some if they have not seen her in other shows, interviews, etc., when she is not playing some sort of mousy character. And she has a wicked sense of humor.

Hopefully, my little side comment does not de-evolve into a Mayim Bialik conversation. I think Bialik is attractive but hope there will not be another Rebecca Lobo Part 2 critique started of her too lol.

@DallasEast did a good job with the one on one questions...beckinsale and mitra was hard. This is a better structure tbh. I didn't know that the actress from Sin City but big yes there too. Not many women can do th short hair hot look but she deftly can.
