This is a great Cowboys website for any age. I latched on to the Cowboys in the mid-70's, and never looked back, and truly enjoy the young'uns a lot. Visits here, in-season and off-season, seem to always whet my appetite for more Cowboys news and insider info. The mods do a really good, judicious job and the regular posters keep things amusing, 24/7. Number 12 forever. :star:

So, I say more of the thought out opinion posts that obviously took effort and thought to produce. More articles and recaps. More posters who are here because they are fans of the team and want to share insight with other fans.
Yes, yes, and yes.

I also say less of the mindless posts. The lame caption threads and polls that are stupid should go.
Sometimes that is true - but sometimes they are fun. But I know what you're talking about. :)

And put a cap on how many times a user can post in a day.

No thanks. ;)

Also be more willing to say to people that they need to stop playing their games when it is obvious that certain posters are behaving in a way to intentionally frustrate normal fans.

Completely agree. There is a point, and it comes pretty quickly, when you can tell that a certain poster is only here to annoy people. I actually didn't get that from Nors ALL the time, sometimes he was legit. So I never put him on ignore, since there was a chance that he was going to bring something relevant to the table. Even the Carter trolls seem to post really based on their true feelings and emotions, and NOT just to annoy people.

But the new Bledsoe trolls, are unbearable. I love to mix it up, exchange ideas, even argue now and again - so when I have to ignore someone, you know it's bad. I really don't see the necessity for that to continue. It's not funny, it's not entertaining, it's not interesting. I really wish a stop would be put to it more quickly, although I realize there may be the inclination to give them some time, see if they change. Even if people aren't breaking the rules, they are breaking the spirit of the forum. They're not here for the right reasons, and IMO, should be got rid of.

Well as you can see I am a new poster to this site. I am about to turn 23. I know that the one thing we all share is that we love the Cowboys. I love hearing stories about past Cowboys games and such from the Forums alumni. To all you old posters thank you for keeping this site up and running long enough for me to join. I would also like to thank HOSTILE for changing my screen name. He just emailed me and was like dude do you want a different screen name? I was using my email address at first but couldnt figure out how to change it and he was right on top of it. I love this site. Its not the only site I choose. I also go to www.scout.com and post on their forums. Thanks guys. zach
