Just once I'd like to come in here after a loss and find out important information. For example, what is up with the Jones and Nagy injuries.

Instead I get a bunch of whining and armchair analysis from folks who think they are so much better at coaching than whoever our HC is at the time.

We lost to a very good team at home. We battled. We came up short. It sucks but it doesn't mean that, as a team, we suck.

2-3, just sayin'

Tired of coming up short. Short with the Jets, Lions,a and now Pats. Need to win these games in order to make playoffs.

And now you're whining about the whining. :D

I haven't happened upon anyone saying the team sucks (although I'm sure there are 1 or 2), but I continue to be amused at how upset people get over other people getting upset following a loss. Especially considering the game ended, what, 30 minutes ago?

It happens after EVERY loss, and I promise you it's not unique to Cowboys Zone.

Auuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!

SO Disapointed!!!!!!

That is all

I agree with you. I don't have any info though, so sorry. I remain concerned that Jones can shoulder the load and get through the season. I'm not sure what the status is on Dockery but we need him badly.

Injuries suck, Austin was not himself tonight and it's because he was coming off an inury. I think we're a better team then the pats, but injuries and youth (mistakes) keep us from proving it.

I'm really ready for the defense to close out games the way they start them. They are getting better. If we can win a few, we're still in it and will be better at the end of the year then we are today. I really think we're still a year away from the experience and depth needed to make a serious run though.

Another game we deserved to win but did not. Sucks.

Dez is not a winner. Disappears in the 4th and runs piss poor routes. Just saying...I don't think he is coachable.

I come in here to hear people whine and complain after a loss like this...cause they should...cause it sucks...just like the last game....I don't want sunshine blown up my *** right now.

This is a time to be pissed...getting over it will come later.

Great P ost

I don't know if this team will ever stop letting us down. We thought after wade was fired we would see a more disciplined team. What we have is more of the same. We continue to committ costly turnovers and make mistakes in key situations.

Miles dropped a couple of balls, but those last couple were huge. He is supposed to be our best wr. I don't see other team's number ones dropping those balls.

Dez had a good game, but did nothing in the second half. But as far as i know, it could have been the play calling. Why we did not give him a shot in one on one coverage on our field goal drive at the end is beyond me. Why not throw it up and let him make a play? If he doesn't come down with it, nobody is. But romo threw it away into the ground instead.

You can't blame the defense for this loss, but they are as much at fault as the offense. Bottom line, they get a stop on the last drive and we win. They failed to do this and their great effort throughout the game is now meaningless. I don't care how well you play throughout the game. All that matters is they needed to make one play at the end to win the game and they failed to do so.

You can't put the blame on Romo for this either. He did not play a great game, but he did not lose it either. The problem we now have is that the coaches are afraid to put the game in his hands. When we needed a couple of first downs to ice it, we were afraid to put the ball in the air. This is because Garret no longer trusts romo with the game on the line. He knew our running game was not going to get a first, but he refused to put the ball in the air. Part of this can be put on Romo as well. Although he did not turn it over in the 4th, he had a couple of plays where it left you thinking what the heck is he doing. He got lucky a couple of his throws were not intercepted on that field goal drive in the 4th.

This team continues to find ways to lose. We played a great game defensively, but in the end the defense collapses. Penalties killed us all game, and you have to wonder why this continues to be a problem with this team, even after the coaching change.

As good as we played, some people might look on the bright side and say we proved we are a good team and can beat anyone. Problem is, it would not be a surprise to anyone to see us come out and lose to the rams next week. That is they way this team is. They continue to disappoint time after time.

My guess is we will win next week, but it will come down to the end once again.

Sorry for rambling on, just thought i would vent a little. I have learned the only way to watch this team is to down a few beers because otherwise i will lose my mind.

Like i said earlier, this team is not going anywhere if they cannot trust their qb in key situations. Hard to blame garret for not trusting romo though

can somebody put out a search party for Dez, the guy disappears in every second half of games..

Now that's funny.. Not much you can do when Choko zeros in on his BFF. There were plenty of times he was one on one and Choko didn't even look his direction.

How about the drive near the end where we were 2nd and goal with dez one on one. Instead romo throws it in the dirt to the rb. A jump ball to dez is not risky because if he does not come down with it nobody is.

When has he not caught a jump ball?

I don't blame dez. It's not like the ball was coming his way and he wasn't catching it. They just stopped throwing to him.

These teams combine for a 12-4 record or something like that and two of the games were on the road. I'm not making excuses. I'm just looking at the bright side. I'm hoping that with "easier" games on the horizon, the Cowboys can get a streak going and end up in the playoffs. With confidence and improvement, maybe they'll be able to play better against the tougher opponents. Also, NYJ and NE are AFC teams, so the losses aren't as big as they could be.

Feel better?:D

100% sure Dez has running the wrong route. Kid can't read a playbook, won't watch film, or listen to the coaches. But sure, we should clearly look for him in the end because he is going to be where he should. :lmao:

I believe Wes Welker led the league in drops last year.

1 and 2 baby. :laugh2:

Wes Welker (Patriots) -- 11 drops/123 targets
Miles Austin (Cowboys) -- 10 drops/115 targets
