Per Colin Cowherd and Vegas, the Cowboys will be a 9-7 team ( the fourth best in the NFC).

I personally find this article odd, all the sites sports betting sites I've visited have the Cowboys second or third only to the Patriots to win the Super Bowl.

Why is this turd comparing RG3 to Dak?

Yes, the schedule appears to be tough as of this moment... easy to say at this point.
Dallas will win the East. They will be in the conversation for NFC Championship participants,
and we'll see what happens.

For Cowherd to predict that the Cowboys will be a 9-7 team as though there's no room for debate or discussion is a bit nearsighted to me. There's no shortage of those just as knowledgeable as he is who aren't bashful about predicting a 10-6 season or even better.

Of course, there's still room for discussion on the subject, since Dallas' new schedule is one that is generally considered the toughest in the NFL. Predictably, Cowherd prefers to take a position of doubting the Cowboys' strength, since he's one who isn't shy about criticizing them to begin with. Fair enough -- he's entitled to his opinion but we'll see about that once the upcoming season is history. There is room for debate on the matter.

We're the favorites to win the NFC, but alright.

Thanks. Evidently, there are those who consider Dallas better than the others listed -- some of which are very fast company.

Not everyone sees it exactly the way that Cowherd does. ;) This listing doesn't actually appear too ''borderline'' to me! :)

RG3 and Dak have very similar first year numbers, especially extrapolating an extra game for RG3

Anyone with basic vision, even through coke bottle thick glasses, can see that Dak is infinitely better than RG3.
Numbers be damned.
Meh, you say that now but if he were in last years draft, and put up those numbers you wouldn't.

"Meh".

If Rg3 was in last year's draft? Nah. I was celebrating when the skins drafted him when he actually was in the draft. A gimmick player with a short shelf life is what I called him. He didn't even deserve the ROY award. Luck and Wilson were better then and remain better now.
But you can slobber all over him if you want.

The simple fact that Dak can go to his second read puts him above anything your guy can be.

RG3 was a player who counted on his legs and once that was gone he was done.

My main concern about this season is Rods defense and how long it will take to jell.

If Linehan continues to expand the offense using Daks skills instead of trying to morph Dak into his base offense we should be deadly.
Looks like we'll have the talent to be in the 10-6 range. But I think coaching can affect that by 4 games in either direction.

It's alright man. I have been making the same comparison for months now. It's not about either individuals game play, stats, or persona. It's about how the both were very successful in their rookie years and elevated their teams into the playoffs. It's measly a comparison of the end result. Only time will tell if the hype here will be different or the same as DC after that great rookie year.

These morons never learn. Every year there has to be one or two of the major media guys that comes out and says this. I think this is all for ratings. Cowherd isnt usually a Dallas hater so this is odd
