His take....

The Cowboys have "the Mike Tyson quality". Nobody knocked out bad fighters more quickly. Not Ali. Not Frazier. Not Lewis. Nobody. But you couldn't judge Tyson's career just on that. When he fought better, more experienced fighters he struggled. The Cowboys are going to roll most of these teams with their defense but there are six games he cares about.

Judge the Cowboys on these games. Those are talented boxers who can punch back. What's going to happen when they don't jump out to a lead? When they have to play from behind? When the opposing QB can escape pressure and make plays? They did this last year putting 40 and 50 points on teams but losing to Brady, Lawrence, Hurts, Rodgers and only beat Burrow but he wasn't fully healthy yet.

I was having this exact conversation with friends. I pointed out that Dallas couldn't prove anything till January.

But I did say there were weeks where Dallas could make a statement and those were the six games.

If Dallas were to sweep or win a majority of those games the rest of the NFL will hear those statements. Everyone will hear those statements.

Cowherd the clown...his selective amnesia and his refusal to acknowledge that the Cowboys made key additions to a defense that was already great. That's why they all have had to wipe the rotten egg off their collective faces after two games. Cowherd, Stephen A, Sharpe and others. If the Cowboys won a superbowl, the three of them the very next day would be saying "Yeah...but I bet they can't do it again."

post prison Tyson was a different fighter, pre-prison only the dumb fighters got into the ring with him.
No doubt, Tyson was on another level before he went to prison. He was devastating and I remember as a kid missing one of his fights because I went to the restroom. It was over that quick. So sick of these media guys spouting such nonsense. The comparison he is trying to make isn’t ever correct, that is how much of an idiot he is.

You mean Dallas isn’t going to blow out the 49’ers by 40 points? Who would’ve thought it? I had no idea that playing the Niners would be more difficult than the Giants.

Seriously, Colin reminds me of the psychic hotline people who tell you your future.

He can be mildly entertaining, and I sometimes listen to him because there is only one sports radio channel around here… but man can he say some goofy ****.

Toss up. This will likely come down to who makes the most mistakes, Dak or Purdy. The typical "slug-fest" type of game.

@ Chargers
I think the Cowboys mop the floor with the Chargers. One team will score points and protect their D. The other will score points with no care for their D. KM will get embarrassed without a D like he had in Dallas. JMHO.

@ Eagles
vs Eagles
We will either split or sweep. Dak has a great record against the Eagles, 8-3, so I doubt the Cowboys lose both games.

@ Bills
I feel like the Cowboys D can force Josh Allen into mistakes since he seems to be careless with the ball. I don't feel like the Bills D can/will force Dak and the O into making the same mistakes. Won't be easy, and it's in Buffalo. So I would lean Cowboys, but not by much.

@ Dolphins
If they can contain Tyreke Hill, this will be a blowout. If not, Dallas could easily lose. Easier said than done, but I think we have the Secondary and Front 7 to make this possible. On O, the Dolphins are not good at producing turnovers, ranking T-30th last year and bottom half so far this year with 2. So I think the Dallas O could play mistake free against them and put up enough points to win as long as the D can contain Hill.
