His take....
The Cowboys have "the Mike Tyson quality". Nobody knocked out bad fighters more quickly. Not Ali. Not Frazier. Not Lewis. Nobody. But you couldn't judge Tyson's career just on that. When he fought better, more experienced fighters he struggled. The Cowboys are going to roll most of these teams with their defense but there are six games he cares about.

@ Chargers
@ Eagles
vs Eagles
@ Bills
@ Dolphins
Judge the Cowboys on these games. Those are talented boxers who can punch back. What's going to happen when they don't jump out to a lead? When they have to play from behind? When the opposing QB can escape pressure and make plays? They did this last year putting 40 and 50 points on teams but losing to Brady, Lawrence, Hurts, Rodgers and only beat Burrow but he wasn't fully healthy yet.
Let's be honest, the goal posts will move for a win over the Chargers, Bills and Dolphins.
The Chargers are 0-2. So a win over them will be charted as a win over a team that isn't good.
The Bills will be afforded latitude until they play Dallas. Then, they will be judged by the Jets loss and if they lose to the Dolphins or Eagles (not sure if they'll play them before Dallas). Either way, won't matter if Dallas beats them or not. Did anyone give them credit for beating the Bengals last season? With a backup at QB? No.
If Dallas beats Miami, there will be plenty of analysis about how they have played earlier in the season.
It doesn't matter if the Cowboys go 17-0. National media will discredit it and say that it only matters if they make the NFC Championship game. Should they lose, it will be "same old Cowboys". Should they make the Super Bowl and lose, it will be, same old Cowboys. We all know that right?
The Cowboys can win the Super Bowl and the narrative will be, "they have all the talent in the world and should have won the last 5 Super Bowls. Can they repeat is all that matters?"
Prepared for moving goal posts folks. No matter how it plays out.
