Cowherd hasn't been a fan of Dak for a long time. It is so lazy that any discussion of Dak descends into name calling.. it is possible to not Hate Dak.. but just think he is a mediocre QB that got overpaid and is holding our team back.

I don't agree that "all the pressure" is on Dak this week.. it is a meaningless game because when the real pressure came.. we folding like a cheap suit yet again.

What I do like about the video is the clear presentation of my problem with Dak from the beginning.. the near endless excuses for the guy. He was 'great' his rookie year because ZEKE was literally on HOF pace and dominating games... crazy good.. and Dak was behind a pro bowl OLine and had weapons EVERYWHERE. Even still.. when teams started to get tape.. a few injuries came.. we lurched into playoffs and didn't go as far as that team probably should have because Dak had one of the worst halves of football you will see. I would still happily say that his rookie year was his 'best' year.

Then it has been NON STOP excuses for him.. zeke missing, no WRs, Oline not good enough (despite never being ranked lower than 6th during his entire time in the league), the coaching, the coaching, the Wide outs, the run game, the line, the refs, the weather.. the injuries, the contract.. yada yada yada.

When can we just stop and reflect.. what has Dak actually produced that is deserving of his celebrity status? What level of play has he produced consistently and reliable that allowed people to rate him as worth the huge contract? It just doesn't make sense. All over the league.. QBs are run out of teams for "failing to produce" despite them having no Oline, no stars anywhere, crap facilities and the rest..

Meanwhile Dak is still given wide spread support and Jones has all but PRAISED him for laying another goose egg last weekend. That is the bit I really don't understand. I have never seen this team even honestly admit when Dak sucked. The dude is literally killing us with his interceptions.. and nada.. not a word. It is just baffling.

That article just says that he was cleared to play. The report by Werder was live and said Dak choose the Lions game to come back and play. What am I missing here?
"He was trying to play weeks before that" hahahahahaha

Dak tried practicing for the Rams game but his hand swelled up, and wasn't medically cleared until two weeks later. So relax with the narrative about Dak being scared of Philly or whatever the heck yall made up.

Whether Dak chose to or not. He couldn't practice until Lions week.

Putting the Cowboys completely aside…Cowherd is a joke.

I’d put him in the same category as Stephen A. and Bayless. Just complete non sense hot takes that somehow keep people tuning in for the lunacy.

Would you feel the same if they were constantly showering Dak with praise? Nope. Media heads that are critical are called all sorts of names like you just did..

No, b/c everything he’d say outside of the Cowboys would remain trash.

I swear man, some of you guys that don’t like Dak just obsess over every thread to make it about him. I didn’t even mention our QB in our response.

Not random strangers, I have known Eagles fans my entire life and most can easily be stereotyped.
They are easily identifiable even when not wearing gear.
If you didnt classify as such you would have laughed at my very impressive joke.

I think the fact that he completely avoided the undefeated Eagles on primetime the first time choosing to make his comeback against the Lions instead just adds to the pressure the situation.

He's probably trying to think up ways to get out it.

You really belive the words you typed, or just looking for some publicity? Lol

Cowherd is a tool. Should be how much pressure is on McCarthy and Moore who both combined cost us two games. Dak can be bad- but he looks like a perfection vs Mccarthy and Morre. Again. No quarterback should have to bail their HC and OC out year after year:facepalm:

The excuses are definitely it. Whether it's forum heroes, the content creators or the subservient media who want access.

That said, he did have a nice game against the Jaguars, but it was marred by 2 INTs, one of which wasn't his fault. 7 INTs in four games. Whomever you think is to blame is really irrelevant because if it continues into playoffs, where far more pressure will exist, the team is likely doomed for a second year.

I do see him more in command this year (especially vs. Indy) but this turnover funk is rather perturbing. It doesn't help that his coordinator isn't always making things easier for him. I've said since last year that the two of them are not a good match. They are too close, which means that Prescott might be reticent to question him or defy his play-calling/scheming at times. Hard to trust the two of them in the playoffs. McCarthy as well, because he is letting someone of this [Moore] nonsense go on. He may yet find himself getting fired because of it.

Why would there be pressure on him? From who? The media? Fans? They don't sign his paycheck and the guy that does has made him a made man. He's got near Jones-like job security. It doesn't matter what happens on the field. He will still be there getting paid.

So, no....there is no pressure on him in this game or any other.

There it is...

The average age on this message board is like 60, so I find it baffling some of y'all let what media people say even bother you.
