Crayton could be out for the year

Mickey just said Crayton left locker room with a cast on his foot.

Although, he did say he didn't hear any official confirmation on the extent of the injury.

Someone said could be 4-6 weeks with regard to Crayton's injury and he may be available for end of regular season/post season if indeed it is a broken ankle..we shall see once they do the MRI but if so he could be back.

Now this puts even more importance for TG not to go down. We needed TG to stay healthy this year but we really need him to stay healthy now that Crayton has gone down.

that would hurt, really really bad.....but that's why we signed price.

get ready for it!

You might want to edit that, since it's a bannable offense. I'd hate to lose a quality poster like yourself because of a moment of indiscretion.

No, because I don't edit anything that attacks such a stupid philosophy as yours. Tell me you don't really believe what you just said. It makes no sense, and just shows your ignorance as to the game of football. So if what I said is bannable...then fine. I'll take a banning to correct such stupid comments as what you said. Enough said.

Only one out of line here is you Rezz I agree with Jd's post totally. I thnk you are taking it the wrong way.

Rezz, your point has merit but it's a family board.

Please edit it...I find it offensive myself.

Thanks to our great coaches and the fact that they play for overtime rather than actually try to win a game. Crayton got hurt when he shouldn't have been playing, and if we'd had ANY guts we would have won the game in regulation. So I think we should give a game ball to Parcells and Zimmer for their wonderful work, or maybe we can just draw the ball on Crayton's cast and then beat them both over the head with it...

Gimme a break...good grief

JD is absolutely right. We did not play aggressive go for the TD football with 4:30 to go in the game. Run to the right on first down, which was stuffed all day, screen pass on 3rd down, never threw it in the endzone. Parcells played for the FG and was not aggressive, thus we end up playing in OT when Crayton was hurt.

Obviously Parcells didn't intend it, but we should have put the game away in regulation.

Whatever, I'm offensive fine. What he said was plain ignorant. So have fun on your board with your politically correct language. You can be wrong with a bunch of nice people. I don't care. But ignorant comments like this poison this board and make it worse than it should be.

When someone makes patently wrong statements about how the game should be played, especially after WE WON. I won't let it stand.

I apologizie for the vulgarity, and I wish there would have been asterisks over some of the words like the filter caught some of mine, but I will not take it back,

I will not apologize for calling someone out for being completely and utterly WRONG.

It's been nice knowing you.

Rezz.

Coaches? It wasn't the coaches who turned it over four times. It wasn't coaches who dropped passes. It wasn't coaches who at times let defenders run right at Bledsoe.

We're were playing OT not because of a lack of guts but because of a lack of execution.

Yeah, I find it hard to blame coaches for making sure a touchdown can't beat you, when your defense hasn't allowed them in the endzone yet.

I mean, let's be fair. What if Dallas goes for it and doesn't get it. It certainly isn't a sure thing? Then what if the Giants still score their touchdown? Say what you will, but Bill is consistent. He puts guys in positions to succeed.

I disagree. I think we played for the FG on both of our final drives in regulation. We never even threw to the endzone. We lined up for a 4th and inches and then backed off, because Parcells didn't believe in our guys on either side of the ball. That wouldn't have been as galling if we hadn't gone for such stupid 4th downs in other games this season, even to the point of lining up for a 'fake' punt and then standing there with Crayton under center for 10 seconds or so just so that the D could be absolutely positive we weren't really punting before going for it. We also went with a 3 man rush when the Giants were as desperate as any team could be, and when it was obvious that Eli had struggled all game with our pressure. Sorry, I don't think execution was the problem at the end. I think coaching as if a 7 pt lead is secure with 4 minutes to play was the problem. You would have thought after the final 4 minutes of the Washington game that Parcells would learn that you go for the jugular, just like he did in the Eagles game all day long.

Well signing price was a good call now
Signing Price was always a good idea. Can never have too much depth.

I'm sick for Crayton. That guy has ridiculous hands. Godspeed to you Patrick!

I hate losing Crayton..........the kid has become a weapon. You cannot afford to lose weapons.

Now Mr. Price...you better step up

I'm really bummed about this, as well. I was so pleased with Crayton's improved ball security today and he really is clutch in the middle of the field. I just don't see Price replacing that type of production. I do like Barber's potential catching balls out of the backfield. He's a natural.
