I always liked Crayton when he was here, but I don't miss that "almost saying something controversial" thing he always did. He always seemed like he was just this side of starting something in the media. It was always a little worrisome. He reminded me of Greg Ellis in that way. Now he can do it somewhere else.

I don't have a problem with him talking about the state of the team. But when he starts talking about players needing to get more carries etc. etc. That's the coach's job.

It's the coaches job to make those decisions but it's Jerry's right (like any other fan) to voice his opinions. There've been several times when I've heard him make comments about personnel that never come to fruition, which shows me that the coaches still have veto power and his statements and nothing more than mere suggestions (as powerful as they can be sometimes).
