Are they on our team? I heard something about Jerry cutting them for reasons like that but I guess I was wrong.

Yes you are correct. Crayton is not a quarter as bad as either of the two I mentioned. The point is JJ is no genius when it comes to this stuff either.

I think what Crayton said is just a sign of his desire to succeed.

Recall last year when he was demoted as a WR and returner. He griped a little, but he also stepped up and won back his jobs. He'll talk crap, but he'll also put the effort behind the words to back it up. That's his form of leadership.

But I can see why Turner would not want the media hearing about it (or more).

But seriously, Norv should be more concerned about the attitude of his frat boy QB.

He was a gambler when he signed them, he was a winner when they worked out for a little bit, a fool when it blew up in his face and a genius when he got rid of them.

Nothing wrong with what Turner said, the coach should be the mouthpiece of the team. I think that's one of the Cowboy's issues, everyone is always running their mouth. Shut up and play ball!

It didn't take a genius to get rid of them and it took an idiot to sign them.

Crayton is not a bad guy but he clearly loves the media.
Sad thing is he is going to cost himself a couple years at the end of his career because he can't distance from the media.

Jerry certainly talks too much but who exactly is going to fire him?

Chargers should listen, Crayton is an expert on players with an entitlement mentality, having been a Cowboy for so long. :lmao2:

T.O. came here and set all sorts of receiving records. Jerry got T.O. used the last of his prime talent and then released him. I'd prefer a deal like that 100 times out of 100 over a deal like we made for RW11 or Joey Galloway.

Pacman is a talented guy who cost us very little. Low cost gambles when we were trying to re-stock in talent wasn't idiotic just desperate. You don't get mad when you spend a buck on a lotto ticket and lose....

True that! He's only the owner and GM of the team. The why and the how.

He built that big stadium so he's also the where. But God forbid he speaks on the state of affairs on the team, what does he know?

Making money in oil business allowing you to buy a team and name yourself GM and build a stadium doesn't mean you know anything about football, as he's proven.

Crayton is right... What's wrong with being honest?

When you're part of a team, everything. I wish he would have kept his mouth shut here.

but he is allowed to do whatever he darn well pleases with this team. see hiring of dave campo as head coach for proof. if you don't like it, feel free to find a new team.

this is jerry jones' team period.

start up a blog and write up everything wrong with your place of work... see how that goes for you.

crayton still hasn't figured out the team doesnt employ him as PR rep and he needs to simply shut up.

Pardon me. I had no idea JJ was trying to get receiving records.
I didn't think owens aggravation was worth some records. I kind of figured
his ego and gaping whole in his face might have set a pretty good team back a bit. Wonder where Crayton learned that opening your trap as a player is ok.

I some times forget what's important I guess.
