Talk about reading into things a bit too much...

I thought, after watching it a few times, that Crayton thought he was flipping it to a Ref. He always flips the ball to a ref after he makes a catch. This time though he mistook Morgans white jersey for a refs. I don't think he ment anything by it.

Question about Morgan, why hasn't he been given a shot at returning kick offs? When I saw him at Texas Stadium last season for the Browns, he was the quickest player on the field, he had serious speed.

Surely he wouldn't have trouble fielding kick offs (In terms of catching) and when he lights those jets.. he could be the answer to one of the problems this team has at least.

The way I heard the story is that Crayton and Morgan have become very good friends...they go out to dinner together, and their families even get together. Crayton wants that #3 spot, but he's desperate for his close buddy to also be on the team. It was reported that his flip of the ball to Morgan was a preplanned event in order to prove to Parcells and to a national audience, and getting it on film, that Morgan can indeed catch a pass if it's thrown to him correctly....underhanded.

:laugh2:

When I first saw the trade last year I thought we traded AB for Dennis Northcutt. I was so happy, we got a KR and a WR that was proven and could catch a cold, let alone a football. Until my friend Nick called me to make fun of me, because it was indeed QM not Northcutt who we traded for, It was like a mini Depression because Nick made fun of me due to he knew QM's penchant for dropping balls. That Thursday I got drunk but didnt forget about that trade like I tried too.

It's chic to bash Morgan lately, but if you heard his postgame interview with Brad Sham last night, there was no sign of 'tude whatsoever... He said he knew he'd been playing terrible and he was embarrassed to drop that first one because that was his job. He didn't blame anyone but himself and just hoped for another opportunity to do better because he's from this area and this is where he wants to be and play.

Frankly, I felt sorry for him and I think Sham did, too. Here's a young man who is trying his best not only for himself but for his local family, too, and even though he's trying his hardest, he knows it's slipping away from him.

We've had our share of punks around here, but I don't believe Morgan is one of them.

Honestly - I don't feel sorry for him at all. The position is about catching and holding on to the ball. If he can't do that, cut him. It's that simple.

Or should we just keep him around so he can hinder the other 52 team members because he can't catch?

I saw that too, but the ref was in the area, and Crayton started his flip of the ball w/o looking. If Morgan cries about that then hes a bigger baby than AB, so.................we should of kept AB then.
