Who would you prefer to be on the field more if/when Glenn returns?

Has Crayton earned the #2 spot in your eyes?

I personally like Crayton at the #2 on the first couple downs and Glenn as the 3rd option on long downs and to stretch the field on occasion.

Is this really a question? Of course I would want Glenn on the field with Crayton as #3.

Glenn.. in a two receiver set--especially against a team like New England. It would have been grand to have seen him push the Cowboys over the litmus test hump.

Oh well. :(

I dont know about that. I was at the game, and there were Cowboys WRs open deep many times against the Pats defense, but Romo never threw to them. He opted for the checkdown.

This can't be a serious question. If the healthy, speedy Glenn is who we get back, then you better believe we all want him on the field as our #2. He's the best WR we've got and the only player who really stretches the field. He's also the only player whose presence in the game against NE could have drastically altered the course of the game.

Apparently my question is ridiculous.
But Crayton's numbers are currently comparable to Glenn's best start to a season as a Cowboy. Glenn has never had more than 4 TDs at this point in the season and most years wasn't producing as well as Crayton currently is.
Glenn is a playmaker but he disappears in games often and we all know he is on the decline of his career due to age and wear.
Crayton is still young and fresh.

Guess I'm alone here.

I think Glenn is a better receiver. Do I think he automatically gets his starting position back? No.

Just going by Wade's handling of players coming off injury, Glenn will come back as the #3. Ease him back into the rotation. If Glenn gets his groove back, then I think he takes #2 spot.

Depends on Glenn. At what level will he be able to perform when he returns?

I would imagine he comes back gradually and eventually tacking his # 2 spot if he performs..

I like the ideal of both and expect Glenn on the outside and Crayton back in the slot. In 2 WR sets I would expect that Crayton and Glenn will spilt time

I like Terry Glenn as the number 2 because I think Glenn helps Owens see less coverage and the evidence indicates Crayton does not do that. Obviously it will take a healthy Terry Glenn for that to happen. I remain doubtful Terry Glenn will ever return.

young and fresh, age and wear....who cares? Most of us apparently still remember all that Glenn has done the last couple years. He's been excellent and at times unbelievable. Crayton is a good player, good guy, glad to have him on the team, but he doesn't make you say WOW much. Glenn can add another dimension, an explosiveness, to this offense.

In truth I would want to go to being a 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 RB set with both on the field. I don't think Hurd or the other WRs give us a great offense with this, but they would.

I would want all three it would be any teams nightmare. I feel sorry for the first team that has to defend that this season. They are going to be overwhelmed. However I think it is safe to say that Crayton has proved he can handle teh #2 position with ease. He will never be a number one since he doesn't have the speed. But he is a solid number 2.

More and more teams are using this as the base or starting offense. If you notice many teams are announcing 3 WR's in the starting lineup.

We need Glenn. When he lines up wide, it will make TO that much more effective in the slot.

I was kinda holding out hope that we might just have Glenn, T. Johnson and Henry in the starting lineup for the Nov 4th eagles game.

Once Glenn is healthy and is in game condition, he IS the #2 WR. While Crayton has played well, he doesn't have Glenn's speed and be able to stretch the field like Glenn can.

Glenn is faster than Crayton and as long as he can still catch the ball well, then of course i would want him as #2, we desperately need someone that can truly be a deep ball threat. I dont think Glenn should just get back to #2 right away, because he most likely wont be 100% when he comes back, i dont think he will have all of his speed back when he comes back, but when he gets his speed all the way back, then he better be #2.
