I KNOW this has no outcome on the game but when your a fan you can be a little mental with these types of things. Alright I am a regular church attender and because of holidays/laziness things of that nature we have not been since 12/6, which is the last time the boyz lost...I want the cowboys to win and I beilieve....but....I feel guilty....a little...man

I hear ya bud!! Flat out CRAZY!!

I have not had a haircut since the start of the season, I have a cowboys "holy grail" which I drink 6 cokes out of during gametime, since the Saints game and we are undefeated since then (i got it two days before the Saints game). I wear a old Romo Jersey that is virtually destroyed and I have never washed because it is good luck. I don't stop yelling during the first quarter til it says "2nd" then I calm down a little bit.

You're right, silly superstitions on the parts of fans have no affect on the outcomes of games...I guess that's why they are called superstitions, because people wrongly believe they make a difference and are believeable.

I have a new one that started the night of the Saints the game. Knowing it was a key game I told my wife I needed to do something to change the Cowboys luck (I know it's stupid). So, I decided to take an offical NFL football I was given out of it's case that I was displaying.

During games-I wear the same Cowboys clothes and have the ball with me the entire game no matter where I go. I toss it up and spin it on finger. We haven't lost since I started this.

Needless to say the ball will be out today.

Crazy superstitions? I picked one up from Novacek in the early 90's. He made a comment one time that he never shaved on game days. Since then I have shaved about a dozen times over all those years. Since todays gameis so important, I didn't shave yesterday either. :D

the big question is, "What have you done to change team luck after your lucky whatever turned on you?" I once wore my 93 Super Bowl tshirt under my Witten jersey under my team pullover but have since made changes to just wearing my sideline cap (and no, that's not all i wear, just only CB gear i wear)

My lucky Cowboy Gnome is sitting on his perch staring directly at the TV. Wearing my Mike Jenkins jersey and yelling the whole game like they can hear me and it matters. Dancing a silly dance when they score or get a turnover. I guess it's pretty stupid stuff for a guy in his mid 50's but who cares. I am a Cowboys fan.

Don't feel bad...I regularly skip church when the Cowboys play at 1.

Well, I wore a combination of a white long sleeve t-shirt and my blue romo jersey to the Chiefs game in October. Since that game I have worn some other combination 4 times. Those 4 games?

@ GB
vs. Oak
@ NY
vs. SD

So this year, with that combination they are 9-0. When I do something else, 3-5.

I wonder what I should wear today....

Feel the same way. My girl is getting ready for church and I had to tell her the kickoff time last nite...she was not happy. Other superstition, I don't wear Cowboys gear if i'm watching the game on TV. I wore a Cowboys jersey for the first time this year last friday because it was jersey day at work. After work, I hung it back up.

I did that for the Tampa game to start the season. Considering we played like crap for the first half of the season, it was the only 1pm kickoff I stayed home from church for.

Well I am glad to see I am not the ONLY crazy boyz fan out there...I have many other things...but I dont want to share them all or you may think I really am crazy...needless to say I didn't make it to church...two more hours...

You are not alone. That's for sure.

Superstitious? Not really.

But I do find comfort in precedents.

;)

24 more minutes and we all can watch our team move to the next round!! This has to be our year to many things have gone right for the season to be over!! Lets go Cowboys!! Put it all together and continue this run!!
