I feel very sorry for anyone who has to play for the Lions. There is only 3 stops on the entire NFL tour I'd rather play for less. Those being the Raiders, Commanders, and Eagles.

Updated reports this morning indicate that it is unlikely that San Diego will be able to work a deal to trade CB Antonio Cromartie to Detroit once the NFL trading period begins on Friday. The two teams did reportedly have serious discussions this week, but reportedly never got close on compensation with the Chargers asking for veteran RB Maurice Morris and a mid-round pick - likely either a 4th or 5th - while it doesn't appear that the Lions were willing to give up much more than a late rounder for a player whose play has regressed the past several years and likely will be released anyway if no deal is completed in the next three days.
