I have a feeling he will be our pick, with Henry going to FS.

Man, i hope he last until the 18th selection. I have a feeling the dolphins may ruin the party at 16 though. I'm on the AC bandwagon for sure.

I don't know. Cleveland, Denver and Minnesota might be options for Manny Lawson also.

ernie sims and greenway take out clevland and denver . . . and minnisota iono. my point is that if they take cromatiere we have a better chance of lawson.

if we take him, I would think he'd start as the 3rd corner or even FS.

I get that feeling as well.

If we could get Cromartie at #18 and his teammate Wimbley at #49...that would be AWESOME!!

I would absolutely love that although I don't think it will happen unless we move up in the second to late 1 to get Wimbley. Coming away with Cromartie and Wimbley in the first day would be outstanding.

Height: 6-2 1/8 | Weight: 208 | 40-Time: 4.41
Strengths:
A tremendous natural athlete...Exceptionally fast for a guy of his dimensions...Has outstanding size with long arms...Has great hands and ball skills...Has a knack for coming away with the big play and interception...Has fluid hips and is a pure cover man...Physical and will support the run...A threat to score every time he gets his hands on the ball...Is also a good return man...Proved to be a game changer during his short career with the Noles and came through with a number of impact plays...Has a ton of upside and hasn't even begun to reach his vast potential.

Weaknesses:
Is coming off of a knee injury...Has only played in 25 total games and has very little starting experience...Very raw and his footwork and technique will need development...Needs to be more consistent...Is not a great tackler...Aggressive and will take too many risks at times...A project who has a high risk factor and his selection will be made mostly based on promise rather than actual production.

Notes:
Tore the ACL in his left knee in July and missed the entire 2005 season...Was a member of the FSU track team that won the ACC Championship in 2004...If his knee checks out okay in exams and he works out like he is capable of there is no reason why this guys stock won't soar leading up to the draft...A rare prospect who might have been a Top 5 overall pick in 2007 had he gone back to school.

I'm hoping Miami takes him so we're not tempted. I don't like his gigantic question marks at all....knee injury, raw talent, no real production, project, hardly any starting experience...no thanks if we're talking about our FIRST round pick.

1: Cromartie is coming back from a serious injury, I dont like that one bit

2: If we did draft him, he will play FS, not CB

If we want to go safety, trade up for Huff or take Simpson in the second round

Cromartie will become a really good corner to a very great corner. He is certainly worth the 18th pick. I don't know why people don't like the idea of moving Henry to FS. FSs will start to make more money under the new salary cap anyway and he will probably be the best one.

I guess people feel that Henry couldn't play FS. He had like 10 picks at FS a few years ago. Cromartie is going to be an all pro IMO. He's this good now with having played less than 30 games He's only going to get better his upside is through the roof.

Man I think they're looking at Cromartie possibly in the 2nd round.
Dude, I agree.
All the sudden this guys climbing up the draft boards, after not playing at all last year...... I dont buy it.

I know Mike Williams was picked at #9 last year, and he also didn't play the year before......... but Williams wasn't coming off a major injury and his hype had been building for 2 years......... It's like this Cromartie guy came out of nowhere.

I also remember people saying Chris Canty, would've been a high first round pick if he hadn't been injured...... but look where we got him, late in the 4th.

I'm not suggesting that Cromartie will last beyond the second round, but I dont see him being chosen in the first. Definitely not in the top 20. Just MO.

My draft axiom for the first round is: Don't reach and don't select project players. Select players that can start.

This kid sounds like a project player to me. I wouldn't mind taking him in the 2nd but not the first round. He also doesn't sound particularly smart in coming out this year after not playing. It is a dumb move that will cost him a ton of money if he is really as good as they say.
