it be more likely that we move Cromartie to FS

No way. He is bigger and faster than Henry. He has the potential to become the next Champ Baily. Before his injury he was considered a top 5 pick.

Every team needs 3 good CBs.

and Glenn isn't so young.

I just don't like the lack of playing time. I keep coming back to Rod Wright -- if he got hurt and didn't play his final year then he'd still be rated as a top prospect. But he played and showed he wasn't all that.

Its all about value. Getting a guy that would likely be top 5 next year at 18 is serious value at one of the 6 premier positions in the game. Plus the pressure of being a starter isnt there as Newman,Glenn, and Henry are on board. I see Cromartie being added in the nickel package but on the wide receiver with Glenn or Newman in the slot. Henry I see moved into a playmaking FS role.

"Antonio Cromartie: My greatest strengths as a football player are that I can come up and be a great run stopper and there would be no deep balls or jump balls thrown to my side. I have great speed and athleticism and I love playing press man coverage. I feel like if I can beat the receiver up in the first five yards then the route is over with. As far as things I need to work on I think it is my technique and back pedal but I would say I don’t have many weaknesses outside of that. "

And how do we know he'd be top 5 if he continued to play in college?

Rodrique Wright and Mathias Kiwanuka both showed us this year what an extra year in college might show folks.

Cromartie has S experience, it would be easier, and would make more sense, to start his career off at FS, as we don't know how he would fare as an NFL CB, while we do know Henry is one of the best CBs in the business, and we don't need a great FS, so the question mark about Cromartie at FS would be less glaring

What's it going to be then, eh?

I certainly hope this is a case of us falling in line and bringing him in for show.

I don't like the idea of a player with one career start being expected to make an impact as the eighteenth best player in this draft.

I think you need to use those visits on guys who you don't know enough about -- Cromartie fits that description. I think people make the mistake of thinking that visit = interest in drafting. The way I see it is that a vist is about figuring out if you want a guy, and, if you do, when.

The one start is misleading -- he was the best CB on his team.

CB Antonio Cromartie I just don't think the Boyz take him at #18 coming off a torn ACL....I simply don't see this happening !!!

He tore his ACL in July. Players rarely have any problem recovering from that sort of injury now.
