Anything by Milli Vanilli

If someone drove by you while you are blaring that, would you lip sync to the artists that lip synced just to confuse the person driving by you?

Might come in hand if I get road rage and need to throw something at someone. :laugh2:

To this day my Mom still does not know what happened to that 8-track tape and I don't plan on telling her any time soon. :laugh2:

U2 - Achtung Baby

Would have gone with Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers if allowed, was listening to that on my mp3 on a train through the desert in India and it was ideal travelling music.

Pink Floyd "We you were here"

However....There are softwares that can record over 100 songs on a CD, so I would make my own CD with 100+ songs for a trip :)

Right now it would be Wasting Light by the Foo Fighters. I cannot get enough of listening to this one. I'm constantly playing it in the car or around the house.

Any of these would suffice...

Boston: Boston
AC/DC: Back in Black
George Strait: Pure Country
Frank Sinatra: Songs for Swingin' Lovers

If I have to chose one... Boston...

Metallica's Black album was already mentioned.

I'll say Bon Jovi - Slippery When Wet.

Hmm. Today, I'll pick:

Mission of Burma: Vs.

Great album, tons of energy (good for driving), and the CD has several bonus tracks that are actually good.

Ask me tomorrow, I'll pick something else.

No offense, but I'd listen to the wind blasting thru a cracked window as I drove before I would listen to something over and over and over................I would go insane....er.

3) Who - Who's Next

A fine choice for the road, and one I have fond memories of listening to with my pops when we'd go fishing or other road trips.

I get that one.

Lord help me if something happens to satellite radio.

Steven Wright used to tell a joke about traveling cross country with a friend and only having one tape for the entire trip.

He then puts he hand to his forehead and rubs his temples and says, "I can't remember what it was."

So, you're in a car traveling across the United States. The antenna is broken so CD is it and you only have one.

It can't be a greatest hits CD. What do you listen to clear across the country?

I gotta think mine would be Pink Floyd "Dark Side of the Moon."

You stole my thunder with DSOTM but ive still got two great choices....
Zep......Physical Grafitti...lotsa varied material from wanton song to kashmir to in the light...plus you get 2 cds worth

Beatles....Abbey Road
Classic album with nary a weak track.

Gaither Vocal Band with David Phelps, Guy Penrod and Marshall Hall....
