You stole my thunder with DSOTM but ive still got two great choices....
Zep......Physical Grafitti...lotsa varied material from wanton song to kashmir to in the light...plus you get 2 cds worth

Beatles....Abbey Road
Classic album with nary a weak track.
I am a big Pink Floyd fan. I was going to say The Wall, but that would be cheating and I didn't want to have to pick one of the CDs over the other.

Gonna get railed for this: Matchbox 20 - Yourself or Someone Like You.

I would have to go with Lynyrd Skynrd's greatest hits or Kid Rock Cocky CD.

Probably Petra's Wake Up Call- Midnight Oil is fantastic.

Other than that it would be something by CCR or Skynyrd.

The rule is no greatest hits...

With that, you get stuck with Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack... remastered...

"Hotel California" - Eagles

That was a great album as well. If this were a top 5 thread it would have been in my top 5 easy.

This was not a want to, but I once drove across I-80 with....ABBA Gold...as our only CD. Got in a huge fight with the wife in Nebraska when she dozed off and woke up just as I was trying to throw it out the window. I was singing "Fernando" for weeks. It was hell.

I've got a lot of hatred toward you at this moment. I've got Fernando coursing through my brain and will be lucky to rid myself of it for days. Thanks!

If it's any consolation, I'm doing it now, too.

There was something in the air that night
The stars were bright, Fernando
They were shining there for you and me
For liberty, Fernando
Though we never thought that we could lose
There's no regret
If I had to do the same again
I would, my friend, Fernando

For those of you unable to understand the pain, here you go. I dare you to click the link and listen all the way through. Just hear those drums!

I think I have changed my mind.

Since we have been getting so many stories of a topic in the news of late I am changing mine to...

Cannibal Corpse - Vile

Exile on Main Street - Stones

Waking up in Nebraska is reason enough! I grew up there, so that is first-hand fact. :D
