Until he is gone, we won't be taking any steps forward in terms of philosophy.

But it is no different from any other time period. We are a slave to whatever a DC believes in. So we went crazy for corners under Rob Ryan. Now we won't even think about a top level one technique.

For anyone believes that there will be real shifts in how we do things (draft priorities, a revamped offense around Prescott, etc.) they should prepare themselves for disappointment.

My guess is we are looking OG at 19. This is what they do. 2014 happens, they let Murray walk, they think that's the problem in 2015 so they use a premium pick on a TB. 2016 happens, we let Leary walk, they think that's the problem and use a 2018 premium pick on another OG.

Or Hurst at 19 because they think Collins is a swell 1 Tech.
