This got silly last year after all the rules changed and only rediculous offers were accepted by the "new owners"....After a few weeks I stopped even reading thread and it died.

I throw these simple rules out for a vote:

1) I will offer a weekly bet - don't worry I can keep this on the edge!

All posters are eligible to Stump the Nors. Winners get to gloat. Losers have to voluntarily put the Crow in their Avatar. It can be any Crow picture to add flavor. Those eating crow for the week will be very visible.

I have to on any losing crow bet put Als as my Avatar. Or if someone creative can build a Crow with ALS's head that could be pretty humiliating too.

We need to keep this simple. I offer the bet - you accept or decline to participate.

I'll offer up the week 1 Crow bet in the opinion Zone if there is any interest!

I don't know about this, I would have to see what kind of things you are planning on putting out there, but it sounds like something that would become more a matter of opinion then fact. What I have proposed is fact. I think I'm going to stick to my idea and if you don't choose to join, fine, we'll let that thread die. As far as your idea, it has to be something that can be seen through facts alone or it wont work.

We agree to a season of weekly bets, the terms of which are made unilaterally by you.

We have the right to 'accept or decline'.

But you dictate all the language. That could be anything as safe as "we play more 3-4 than 4-3 this week" based on who we're playing, or as ambiguously relative as "Bledsoe will gave a good day". (he only takes four sacks could win it).

Give us an example of a "possible bet".

Why should Nors get to make all the rules and parameters of the bet?


It's simple. Either Nors stands behind all his big talk that Als won't be here come Sept. 11th... or he crawfishes out and doesn't take the bet, because apparantly he thinks Als might make the 53 man roster.

If Als is here on opening day, Nors is a loser. Simple as that. He doesn't have to take a bet for us all to know that.

But if he takes the bet, at least we'll all know he's got the stones to back what he blurts out.

So, Nors... do you really think Als is gone off of our roster? If you do, make the bet that TheEnigma put out there.

If you don't, then plain and simple, you don't believe what you're saying about Mr. Singleton.

The crow bet is about Al Singelton making this squad. Period.

If you want to try and take the Cup back that's another story.

Bledsoe is the starter. Who the #2 guy is hardly matters.

You've been spouting nonsense about Al Singelton won't make this squad for months now. Everyone is sick of it.

A guy called you on it and offered up a silly avatar bet and you're trying to spin out of it. There's no money.

For months you've said Al is too little.

For months you've said his cap hit is too high.

For months you've said he will be cut.

Now you're trying to back out of it and make up some other rules for something totally unrelated to the topic you are being called on.

His name is Al Singelton and he's too small and too expensive. Put up or shut up. Plenty of people are challenging you on this Nors. Over 30 people are willing to sport that crow avatar.

No it will not die, I will see to that. The world doesn't revolve around you. And I wouldn't be surprised to see Burnett starting over Singleton by week 6, but you have stated numerous times, that he will be gone.
