Just finished watching the Seahawks-Rams game and I am impressed by the loudness of the Seahawks fans. I am pretty sure they had something to do with the delay game and missed field goal at the end of the game, and those plays did bring the W.

I reside in Europe, so I witness lots of noise of fans in stadiums, particularly in soccer games. However, you can hardly ever come across a stadium with the capacity of the At&t stadium. I just don't get it. The stadium accomodates almost 100K fans and it is also a roofed venue that should have a noisier atmosphere. Since I have never been there, I really wonder what the problem is.

Why is our home quiet or at least not that loud?

Seattle designed their stadium to pump crowd noise back into it. It borders on shady.
AT&T stadium was designed for more than just games. It was designed as an experience....and thus crowd noise wasn't considered as an important issue....and it shows. Not to mention that Jerry Jones priced out a lot of the less economically fortunate fans and many of the seats are corporation owned, attended by casual fans, or even non-fans who just want the experience. Additionally, due to the prices of season tickets, some resell game tickets to recoup costs to fans of opposing teams. All of this leads to a lot less noise than you'd expect in a full stadium.

Half of our fans are to classy to cheer, the other half are holding two beers, so they can't clap or yell because they don't want to spill a drop. Beers are expensive at AT&T!

Fan apathy at AT&T is real. Don't get me wrong, there is a large number of fans at the stadium that are there to cheer on the Cowboys and can get pretty loud, but there is a significant amount of people that are just "there". They never stand and get loud and sometimes you wonder why they are even there.

Anfield >>>>>> att

also the place is cavernous and it takes a lot of noise to fill it....

ive sat in the 200 and 300 levels and find very few people get up and cheer....maybe it's b wtter in the lower bowl?

I will say that the playoff game last year sounded like we had some good noise....maybe they just need something to cheer about

I think the accomplishment of AT&T stadium having the largest TV in the world is something to be proud of, but it completely dilutes the fan interaction/reaction during the game. They're too content watching that 50 yard TV and a lot of the 100,000 people rarely, if ever even watch what's happening on the actual field.

I am a season ticket holder for the past 6 years and this is my first season in sec 235 ( the founders club). I have to admit our fans are some of the dumbest fans when it comes to screaming. They scream, cheer, and make noise when we have the ball. I am screaming constantly every time the opposing team has the ball and fellow fans look at me like I am crazy. I tell them this is not church and that they should stay home to watch the game on a big screen. As a season ticket holder to LSU Tiger stadium, this is the total opposite of LSU fans. Cowboys fans in my section are shopping on their phones, talking about Christmas, or taking pics of the stadium. I do believe the ticket structure has knocked the cowboys fanatics for the wealthier socialites who do not dare scream. Regardless, I am a Cowboys fanatic and will continuously yell when the opposing team has the ball. Can other Cowboys fans please help to only yell when the opponents have the ball?

ps, Please refrain from doing THE WAVE when we have the ball!

I've been there many times and it can get as loud there as anywhere. I don't know where you get your information but it is faulty.

Jerry priced out fans? The NFL as a whole has priced out fans. Plus it's so much better watching games on TV than at the stadium. This goes for any PROFESSIONAL football game. College is different the experience at college games cannot be topped.

It's a 60 yard TV running from 20-yard line to the other 20-yard line.

I'll attest to that, I was lucky enough to go back when Romo was still our QB, that damn TV just sucks your eyes into it....
