It's crowded on paper, but most of them suck.
Griffin and Lawrence are the easy starters, and Armstrong is a guy I like as a #3 or #4 end. Stats rarely scale with increasing volume, but if you projected his 2019 stats to a full-time workload, he'd have 8 sacks and as many QB hits as D-Law. He's not a starting caliber player at the moment, but I think he's a notch above the other guys on the roster.
After that, it's JAG city. Aldon Smith is a total unknown, but 5 years out of pro football, I'm not optimistic. Crawford looks washed at 30 with two bad hips. Gregory doesn't look like he'll play. Joe Jackson's just a straight line bull rusher - I can see some Crawford in him if I squint and turn my head, but I wouldn't count on him for anything right now. Anae's small and athletically limited. Jelks is a preseason hero. I think all of those guys are pretty much interchangeable at this point and any of them could be cut without me being upset about it.
