The Giants are 4-2 at Cowboys stadium hopefully the Cowboys figure out how to start playing better at home. Playing at home has to start becoming an advantage.

The Giants won their first four games at the Cowboys' new stadium.

New York proceeded to lose its next two games there.

That means Dallas won its last two home matchups against NYG, the team which Victor Cruz plays for and the topic of the thread.

The Cowboys did lose half its home games last season though.

So, the Dallas Cowboys must play better at home, because they have played .500 ball at home against other teams not based in East Rutherford, New Jersey as recently as last season, but have been perfect at home beating the Giants (the team which Cruz plays for and the thread topic) the last two seasons.

Maybe I should talk through it once more. The Giants won their first...

What baffles me is, how come the Cowboys can have a perfect winning record on the road like last year, but, let some teams come into their house and punk them out of a win?

A few wins at home last year and the Cowboys are having home field advantage...which might not be so good!

Yeah, but its the division thing..... And although it seems like we have had their number recently, its always a real close game, Giants make a mistake, that allows us to win.....I never really feel like we "beat" them.

2012
September 5 Dallas Cowboys 24–17 MetLife Stadium
October 28 New York Giants 29–24 Cowboys Stadium
2013
September 8 Dallas Cowboys 31–36 AT&T Stadium
November 24 Dallas Cowboys 24–21 MetLife Stadium
2014
October 19 Dallas Cowboys 31-21 AT&T Stadium
November 23 Dallas Cowboys 31-28 MetLife Stadium

I hear you on the divisional games thing.. but man.. our team seems so much better than them now. Those other games you listed it seemed like out teams were neck and neck.

Because home field doesn't determine who wins and loses...

Maybe Cruz is telling the Giants he would heal a lot faster if they re-negotiated his contract. He is only making $8M this year. So many other WRs making more. And like, you know, with JPP not getting paid, there just might be a little more money available than usual.

Don't forget they still have Randle who is pretty good in his own right. He just gets overshadowed by OBJ and Cruz.

I know that...I was just saying that the Cowboys need to take care of their house...they know what expect on the road. Hopefully they can repeat that milestone?

Just try to not other teams come to your house and scribble the little QB's name on the wall.

The Cowboys will lose games, that is for sure. It won't be easy...

San Fran - Romo bad back.

Arizona - No Romo.

Thanksgiving - Romo didn't take a shot for his bad back because the games were too close together.

Would we have won any of those three games under the same conditions if they were on the road? It's about Romo, not where the game is played.

ODB is going to be doubled all day.

Personally I'd put Claiborne on him with Jones helping over the top. Shadow him all day with that combination. Eli will be throwing under duress, Claiborne was drafted where he was because of his ability to play the ball. The ball should be coming out erratically, and having Jones over the top should give Claiborne the confidence to let his ability finally shine.

We do that, with our pass rush and their offensive line, and Eli might complete more passes to Claiborne than Beckham.

Because:

1) Against San Francisco, Romo wasn't himself and all of his missed time in training camp really hurt him. If Romo had been normal in that game, Dallas would have won it.

2) Against Washington, Romo went out injured and was in no condition to come back in and lead the team to a victory.

3) Romo didn't play at all against Arizona, and the Cards had no worry whatsoever that Weeden could beat them through the air.

4) Against Philly on Thanksgiving, Romo and the team had little to no rest nor did they have time to adequately prepare for Chippy's crazy offense.

The SF, Wash, and Arizona games were lost 100% because Romo wasn't right, IMO. The only one where I know it wasn't Romo being off was the Philly game... and even that one could be because Romo was off.

It wasn't the home crowd or any lack of support that created those losses. It was Romo not being right and/or having no time to prepare for Philly.

To me, what it boils down to in Week One is this - for the last three seasons, the Cowboys have been the mentally and physically tougher team.

I think that trend continues - these Giants are much more fragile than they had been. They have no leaders on their defense at all. Prior to 2011, they had leaders all over the place.

And, as much as people love to romanticize the return of Steve Spagnuolo to the Giants, when he didn't have Strahan, Umenyiora and Tuck to rush the passer in New Orleans, they had what was at the time the worst defense in NFL history.

The Giants won't make it easy, but they will break before the Cowboys will.

Maybe its just me, and i get what everyone says about last years skins game, but i dont feel the cowboys have the vitrol toward the skins the way they do toward the giants. To me that rivalry has a littttle bit extra juice, especially when it comes to the vets. I think that feeling is what pushes them through the giants these past years.
