Cry. Eagles. Cry

Can't say as I do care much for them. Up until 18 months ago I saved my most vitriolic hate for the Giants but it's all about the Eagles now. It's gonna take a lot of failing on their part to make up for their super bowl victory. Sunday was a good start.
I'm glad they beat the Cheatriots because the Cheatriots are a greater evil.

Lol, it’s everyday. I think it’s this site, it makes me bipolar. One week half the threads are talking about tanking (which I hate) and the next week it’s “We beat the Eagles!”, “Dak is awesome”...

I’m happy about the win but it’s not all that. Beat the Rams or the Saints and I’ll be much more happy.

We can only beat the teams on our schedule.

Ha, and several Cowboys fans still don’t shut up about those Super Bowls. I swear, no one cares more about 20+ year old Super Bowl trophies than Dallas fans.

49er fans

But I surmise from your comment you might be under 30.

And how were we fans when winning three in four years? I guarantee the fanbase was pretty obnoxious.

I was rooting for the Eagles because i did not want Tom Brady to get another ring.

Root for the Saints or Rams. They are leading the pack right now

and we struggle doing that. I think at the end of the year, when all is siad and done, we will have had the easiest schedule in the league minus the AFCE because 3 out of 4 of those teams always suck.

I honestly wish this team had a harder schedule, I want to see who they really are. This one win, one loss, one win, one loss against a bunch of bottom tier teams is getting old.

I don't think I have seen one "Dak is awesom" thread. At least not a title.

I don't think anyone was awesome except Zeke. A good team win over a despised division rival. Someone had to piss in their Wheaties. Glad it was us.

Incorrect and that’s part of the problem. I think half of these fans weren’t even alive for those SB’s or were too young to remember yet they have a sense of entitlement, not unlike many of the players, for something that happened long before they existed or even knew who the Cowboys were.

Almost every person I work with is a Cowboy fan and are under 30. The way they talk, you would think we’re the Patriots. I even give them crap for making Cowboys fans look bad but they don’t get it.

You’re taking that a little too literal but there have been plenty of posts and threads stating how good he “really is”.

I don’t disgree that beating a divisional rival is always awesome, I just don’t think beating this years Eagles team is that much of an accomplishment. They have a losing record, just like us, and had a completely depleted secondary. I also don’t think beating the Falcons next week will be that big of a deal.

I’m hard to please, I know.

They cheer injured players...nothing makes sense with that fan base.

I watched that highlight video on YouTube last night. Something stood out to me.

It was a one possession game. The Eagles might have won if they hadn't been so focused on coordinating group celebrations. Get bent.

Like we did last week after the fake fumble.

This might belong in the Drama Zone, but forgive me Mods... I just had to create and start this thread in our Fan Zone. Us Cowboys fans have been raked through the coals by Eagles fans and the media for the past year and a half, especially with Philly finally winning their first Super Bowl and currently being defending champs.

Everyone... and I do mean EVERYONE... was predicting a blow out all week long leading up to last night's game @ Philthy. Boy, talk about sweet revenge! Them Philthy faithful are taking last night's loss to our Cowboys pretty hard, and it's fun to watch! They look lost. They got run over by a backs-to-the-wall, rebuilt Mack Truck, and it was a sight to see! Score should not have even been this close (27-20).

Highlights of the game and a few videos/articles of Philly whining for your pleasure. Enjoy!

Check out @sportingnews’s Tweet:

Even Al Michaels and Peter King came out criticizing the ungrateful reaction of sorelosing Eagles fans:

Sunday Night Football play-by-play announcer Al Michaels was the first to weigh in on the sea of boos by suggesting Eagles fans were ungrateful following the team's Super Bowl championship last season.

"Well, it's Philadelphia. What have you done for me lately?" Michaels quipped. "Forget the Lombardi."

Following the game, NBC Sports columnist Peter King went further. In his weekly "Football Morning in America" column, King named Eagles fans his "Goat of the Week"and ripped them for vocalizing their displeasure.

Here's what King wrote:

It hasn't been the season you'd want in Philly. And you're losing to the Cowboys, toothlessly, 13-3. But booing the crap out of the team that delivered a stirring Super Bowl win nine months ago? Totally bush league.

Of course, you got backlash to Al Michael and Peter King's truth bombs about such shameless/unappreciate Eagles fans, but is anyone surprised? Talk about Eagles fans living up to their unworthiness. lol

Gotta love watching them whine like the unappreciative, sorelosing bums they are!

Cry, Eagles, Cry!!!! :laugh::clap::flagwave:

Remember the crap Kelce was saying before the game? Lol

Cowboys should have won by at least 11 more points. Mayer's missed FG, getting only 3 points out of Zeke's hurdled run all the way inside the 10, then Dak's missed left sideline throw to an open Zeke which resulted in just another FG. That's 11 points left on the field. Score should have been at least Cowboys 38 - 20.

The crooked officials kept scoring drives alive for the Eagles by not calling at least 6 penalties the Eagles committed on several of those scoring drives. So, taking everything into account, the Eagles in reality should not have scored 20 points. Should have been more like 10 points. There's your blowout bro! Score should have been Cowboys 38 - 10 Eagles.
Who is Mayer?

Jesus, and sime of you wonder why other fans despise us. Based on some of these threads you would think we just won the Super Bowl and haven’t been irrelevant for the past 20+ years.

We beat a divisional rival with a losing record and we still have a losing record, fantastic.
Who is acting like we won the super bowl? Nobody is. Quit creating drama.

People are going to enjoy the win over a division rival for a couple days. That’s what sports fans do. Get over it.

Lol, ok bud. Do most “sports fans” want their team tank after a couple losses as well? Next time we lose a game be sure to tell all the nay sayers and tankers to get over it.

The teams Dallas have lost to are a combined 22-14 all with winning records, except for Seattle at 4-5.

The teams Dallas have beaten are a combined 12-24 all with losing records.

They simply need to start beating winning teams, because they're pretty much taking care of business against losing teams. 2 of the next 3 are against winning teams. We are about to find out who they are.

I tellya, posing for endzone photos in a close is a recipe for a loss.
