Cry. Eagles. Cry

The teams Dallas have lost to are a combined 22-14 all with winning records, except for Seattle at 4-5.

The teams Dallas have beaten are a combined 12-24 all with losing records.

They simply need to start beating winning teams, because they're pretty much taking care of business against losing teams. 2 of the next 3 are against winning teams.
No argument there. I think we beat the Falcons handily, beat the Commanders in a somewhat close game and lose to the Saints. I really don’t think the Commanders record is a true indicator of how bad they are. They’re not horrible but they’re not great. If you have seen most of their games I think you would agree.

That would be good. Because after the Saints, they all look winnable, with the remaining four opponents having losing records.

I’ve said this several times but when the season is over I think we’ll have had the easiest schedule in the league, or at least top 5 easiest. I know anything can happen but the rest of our schedule looks very winnable minus one or two games.

And after the eagles fluke SB win, they're returning to their normal trash position. Their entire team isn't playing over their heads like last season.

And that, truly, is the NFL today. Things just click for a team at a point in time and they ride it. But it isn't sustained. Case in point was Carolina and Atlanta. The only real deviation from that is the Patriots and that's because of BB and TB and the fact they play in the AFC East. Sure, there are teams that are above average year after year, but that's different those teams that things simply come together for a short period of time.

Jesus, and sime of you wonder why other fans despise us. Based on some of these threads you would think we just won the Super Bowl and haven’t been irrelevant for the past 20+ years.

We beat a divisional rival with a losing record and we still have a losing record, fantastic.
Is that you in your avatar picture? The one with the face getting punched, because you sure are acting like it.

Sheesh

Yeah, because I’m over reacting by keeping it real. It amazes me how much crap I catch for stating the obvious (we just beat a team with a losing record) but when fans call for tanking, want JG to be fired, bash the entire team after a loss, etc it’s all good.

BTW, thanks for clearing up my avatar, I was confused, I would have thought you were referring to me as a fist.

Last year was the biggest fluke I've ever seen in the NFL. If Rodgers didn't get hurt, those bums wouldn't have sniffed a super bowl. Makes me sick. Smoke and mirrors gave them a ring. Too bad the NFL has caught up to their crap of an offense.

How do Cowboys fans react when your team completely lays an egg in one of the most important games of the season? Do you guys boo? Clap your team into the tunnel for encouragement? Bottle it up and let your rage out on CZ forum? I'm genuinely curious.

Everyone reacts differently, but more and more, it seems like people today overreact. They also have less patience, empathy, and humility.

The middle and upper leveled seats turn and check out the dancers just over their shoulders, or they rush off to get into the beer line. The lower level seats, start ordering more cheese and wine.
:muttley:

I was listening to Eagles talk radio yesterday and I LOVED listening to all the crying going on. It's so funny how they turn on their team and the excuses they made for booing. They are the worst fans of any sports franchise. The sad thing is that they were this as a badge of honor. I'll NEVER set foot in philly. Never, ever will I set foot there.

I went to Philly last year for the first time and decided to wear my Cowboys hat. Had some shameful conversations that day.

I think Stephen A Smith said that if the Vikings didn't get lucky on that fluke play to Diggs, then he believes Bress would have went into Philly to defeat Foles and the Eagles.

The atmosphere was electric at the start of the game. The stadium was going nuts. The fans gave the team every advantage they could ask for. But when you sit there in near freezing temperature and watch them completely drop the ball against the stinking Cowboys with an extra week to prepare, the fans have the right to be pissed off.

It's a football city. They sell out the stadium when the team is good or bad. Phillies (baseball) can't fill half the stadium when they're bad. Fans don't boo there because every other sport is a distant second to football here.

Booing is a natural expression of anger and discontent. The moment Eagles fans stop booing is the moment they've stopped caring about the team.

And screw Peter King. What the heck does he know about Eagles fans?

I wonder if Titans fans paid this site a visit to laugh at our misery last Monday in the same manner? Cause they had tons of material and threads in this site.

Completely drop the ball? Stinking Cowboys? Granted, the Cowboys have had their issues, but it’s not like the ‘85 Bears lost by 4 touchdowns to Rutgers. Any given Sunday, dude. The Eagles only lost by 7. Had they won by even one point, there’d have been screaming and strutting and dancing and smack talk and told-ya-so’s all over the place.

OF COURSE the stadium was electric at the beginning! They were positive they were gonna destroy Dallas in prime time, by it just didn’t happen, did it? Little brother goes ballistic when he loses to his most hated nemesis! A stadium of poor losers? In Philly?!?
