Crying to the referees

Did anyone else notice how the Seahawks got the better end of almost every call. A week after Sherman went off saying the calls have been horrible and that's why ratings are down? I'll tell you what. Playing Seattle in the playoffs does not appeal to me anymore. Officiating this season has been off the charts bad. Just hope we get a fair shake in Pittsburgh this Sunday. Just a question for the board if they noticed that.

I just think that you take care of your business and don't worry about the refs. If you don't take care of business, then you have to hope the refs call it fairly.
I agree. I hate leaving games up to the officials. Sometimes it happens though. They tried stealing it from us against Philly late in the 4th with the hold on Fred. Just saying I think it's been horrible this season.

I think our proven method is to jump on teams early and keep pressing them until they fold. If you keep it close, then things happen. The refs can do whatever they'd like, so you have to put teams away, leave no doubt.

100 percent agree. This post was more regarding how biased the refs were last night after Sherman went on his rant. Is that all it takes?

I noticed that as well -- in fact my son and I were beginning to wonder if there was something crooked going on with that group of refs. He even mentioned that he had to wonder if the mob might have been doing something rotten to influence their calls. It definitely looked pretty suspicious after Seattle had been the benefactor of so many outrageous flags and even non-calls.

Let's hope the refs in Pittsburgh give us better shakes than that, although that locale has seemed to bring about plenty of questionable calls in the past. The NFL has already noted the Seattle refs' mistakes, so perhaps there's some measure of hope for more reasonable treatment.

Buffalo 11 penalties 115 yards
Seattle 10 penalties 75 yards

Not sure I see the issue? I'll give you the blunder on the Sherman offsides field goal mess, but aside from that I didn't see much favoritism.

Then you have the debacle at the end of the first half. The officials need to be better at their jobs.

Just saw that the ref for our game is Clete Blakeman. He worked the Steelers-Cowboys game in 2012.

The Steelers were called for exactly 0 penalties that day.

Speaking of crying to the referees......sick of seeing every WR crying for pass interference. Especially in the college ranks.

Apologies....back to the regular scheduled topic..
