Ok, so you liked the guy. What does that have to do with his low performance? For him to invoke heart as if the Cowboys were being disloyal for not allowing his sorry butt back regardless of his play sounds very much like a country club.Idgit;5014822 said:Seriously? This ticked you off? Perhaps he liked the guy, and is bummed to lose a teammate. The players also probably don't share your take that VR is a country club.
But in any event, the tweet is not a big deal.
Was the decision to cut Sensabaugh heartless? :laugh2:Bluestang;5014851 said:The irony that a fellow player should have the same attitude of a fan that hates Jerry is hilarious.
And Jerry is the crazy one?![]()

An understandable reaction from someone who probably built a relationship with them off the field. And fans have the nerve to be mad? How about no reaction for such a meaningless tweet. It will have no affect on the field or in the locker room. So who cares?! Lol

Do you know how stupid Hatch sounds saying that? He acts like we cut Emmitt Smith. Sensabaugh has received a great opportunity for many years to make millions while playing mediocre ball. The guys has had it good. Heartless...lol this guy has some nerve. :laugh2:
For the record, I actually like Hatch and defended him when he made those leadership comments after last season. I just hate that he thinks Sensabaugh (a guy who has barely brought anything to the table for many years) getting cut is heartless.
Bluestang;5015004 said:Hatcher's heartless comment probably stems from Sensabaugh's family situation.
He has a wife and 3 boys. Not only does Sensabaugh have to find a new job elsewhere but he's gonna have to uproot his family (who live with him in Dallas) to another location.

Speaking from personal experience I've had to move from the east coast to the upper midwest because of my job. Not only did it take several weeks to do so but it was quite the adventure not to mention the expenses paid to do so. It wasn't easy at all and if I had a choice I wouldn't want to do it all over.
These players are real people with real families. Yes, they get paid millions to play this game but it still doesn't mean that they aren't any less of person or aren't entitled to a stable family environment. Those are the risks they take when they sign the dotted line but they still get the same rights you do.
I suspect that some of you have never experienced such events in life. It's not a big deal when your single but when you have a family the entire mindset changes. Gerald waited to move his family out here after he got his extension because of the uncertainty of his original deal when he came here. Two years later he's on the outside looking in.
The players know that it's a business and that's simply what happened to him. Hatcher of all people knows this and sympathizes with Gerald and his current situation.
Good grief.

I can sympathize with a situation like yours. But, hearing players say that "I have a family to feed" when they have made millions and millions of dollars and may have an opportunity to make more? No...
These guys make more money in one year than the majority of the nation does in there lifetime.
Bluestang;5015023 said:I don't sympathize with them either because that's the nature of the beast. I never said as much in my post that I do either. All I said is that the result of being a "salary cap casualty" for Gerald has completely changed the future for him and his family.
However, who am I to tell Jason Hatcher who he can sympathize with?
What's absurd is how a fan can get upset over how another team mate feels about a team mate that was just cut from the roster for business reasons...
