Culpepper is a good backup. He's proven he knows how to play the game at the NFL level and if Romo ever gets hurt he can run an offense. I would like to see us sign him.

Cullpepper at the vet minimum only and make him lose at least 20 pounds. He looks like a darn OL for crying out loud.

Don't care for it. Too much doubt for someone who has to come in on a moment's notice and produce. Who is he going to be, the MN one or the Miami one?

I'd really like us to give Chris Simms a shot. But Simms probably wants to go to a place he won't absolutley be an automatice backup for the rest of time.

I guess I worry about Simms. He broke my heart at UT too many times. (He should have been benched) I haven't seen him in the NFL at all. Plus, I hated his Dad. (thought he was way overated)

I think I'd almost rather them call the University of Alabama and try to bring back Major Applewhite rather than Chris Simms

Ok, here is my master plan.We hire Simms and pray Romo doesnt go down. At the same time we hire PacMan's old Entourage to stay in Tennesee an work on corrupting Vince. They get him going to strip clubs. They talk him into spitting on and kicking a few women. They even buy him a kennel of PitBulls to fight. This goes on till Tennesee come begging for us to trade them a 7th rounder for him. We tell Vince that only he can save us from the dreaded Simms at backup just like old times. He will regain some self-esteem. We clean him up and let him backup Romo for league minimum. It kills two birds with one stone. We get rid of PacMan's friends and get Vince. I would feel bad for Vince but its worth it to get rid of Johnson. :)

I don't know if such a place exists for him... I certainly don't see any teams looking to add him to be their starter...

Please make this stop. There is no place for Duante on this team.

Next, you will be clamoring for Denny Green to take over at HC.

PFT is reporting that Culpepper is without a good home. I know almost nothing about Dante. I do know that I hate what I saw of Johnson last year. What do you guys think? If he is mobile, I think he could be a decent option for a downed Romo (not that I would want anyone but Romo there)

Culpepper would require no picks, no idea on cap hit or whether he has accepted that he's a backup now.

Better than Chris Simms or Johnson as an option?

What do you think about Matt Jones as a possible receiver signing?

To answer your question about Daunte Culpepper, I believe he should be a Cowboys only IF, he's willing to come at a cheap price....

As for Matt Jones, I would love to have him, but I like Mark Bradford alot and really wouldn't want anything to come in the way of not making the team unless he gets beat out convincingly.:starspin
