Culture Change needed. Fear needs to return

IMO the worst thing Jerry does is hire nice guys. Guys he feels comfortable drinking with. It creates a country club feeling.
Many of them have been smart coaches. No one doubts that MM and Quinn are smart football guys, but there is no fear.
Our guys are soft, emotionally and mentally. They gave up tonight. Same story for 30 years.

Two coaches that created an atmosphere of accountability were Jimmy and Bill. Jerry couldn't stand either for very long, but we need another one of those guys. I'm not sure if it's BB or Vrabel or someone else, but we need someone that will make Jerry and all of the team feel uncomfortable again.

Yes, the culture needs to change. The fear does need to return. It won't happen under Jerry though. He loves him some of that soft country club culture.

I 100% agree! The culture needs to change and until that happens we won’t have playoff success! The team doesn’t have heart and that starts at the top! Until Jerry allows a JJ or Bill type we r doomed!

Grandad -- that fear thing works in college (and is not going to for much longer with NIL).

This isn't the 90s when you pretty much owned a player for as long as you wanted and many got paid peanuts.

These are grown *** men. You can't coach like that anymore.

When the owner isn't meeting with the coaches about game plans, being the primary mouthpiece for the organization, addressing the team after the loss, things have a chance to turn around. As it is, 30 years of failure will continue. Wake me up when the draft warroom isn't a Jones Family reunion. Until then, we're just watching high-level exhibition games. We're the Washington Senators, our playoff opponents forever the Harlem Globetrotters.

I think this culture everyone wants… this hard nosed coach that will cut someone if they say the wrong thing is long gone. Name one coach in today’s league that is that Bill Parcells type?

Exactly! It’s smart teams with high caliber talent that go the distance. We were a dumb team all year with dumb penalties and mistakes. We couldn’t beat a quality team over 500.

Back to the bash Jerry stuff. What organization is fear based? Lol. The problem is the players are soft on defense.......our qb isn't good enough to consistently win big games with no run game.......our run schemes suck. That's the issue. Has nothing to do with fear.
