i don't think it's the fear that's required as much as the need to remove the "relaxed" type of atmosphere this team seems to have. You wouldn't have to worry about seeing these players at a Mavs game with their coach beside them if Belichick came.

But honestly don't know if that can be done with Jerry in charge.

You also need to remove players who are all about that "Hot Boyz" attitude and beat up on weak teams but rarely show against good teams. The ones that are all talk and run their mouth but wilt in the big lights.

You also need to stop overpaying talent that doesn't show in big moments. Stop overpaying regular season warriors who can't perform up to snuff in the playoffs. All of this is on Jerry's head and more.

IMO the worst thing Jerry does is hire nice guys. Guys he feels comfortable drinking with. It creates a country club feeling.
Many of them have been smart coaches. No one doubts that MM and Quinn are smart football guys, but there is no fear.
Our guys are soft, emotionally and mentally. They gave up tonight. Same story for 30 years.

Two coaches that created an atmosphere of accountability were Jimmy and Bill. Jerry couldn't stand either for very long, but we need another one of those guys. I'm not sure if it's BB or Vrabel or someone else, but we need someone that will make Jerry and all of the team feel uncomfortable again.

Parcells won a bunch of playoff games in Dallas with all that fear.

Grandad -- that fear thing works in college (and is not going to for much longer with NIL).

This isn't the 90s when you pretty much owned a player for as long as you wanted and many got paid peanuts.

These are grown *** men. You can't coach like that anymore.
Yes, you can. You just have to get rid of players that won't buy in. Other teams manage to do it.

Unless Jerry changes his ways, the song remains the same!

Those franchises aren’t run by idiots who have their own shows
Those franchises are run by people that want to win football games. Our franchise is run by want to be celebrities. When Jerry decides he wants to win football championships and not be a celebrity is when we will be successful. Spoiler alert: it’s not going to happen.

This celebrity mindset trinkles down to the players and it’s a cancer. Jerry Jones is a cancer on this team.

Can the OP explain to me what fear is on the Chiefs the 49ers etc?

The type of gear being talked about has mostly been removed via collective bargaining agreements
49ers choke more than Dallas. They’ve had the best roster for years and always choke. Chiefs on the other hand. Heck Andy Reid and mohames are just so elite or elite.

They don’t fear Shanahan LaFleur McVey Ryan’s Stefamski . Schemes coaching strategy . That’s what’s needed the next generation to get this job . I’m horrified when Belechick is brought up.
Thank you for admitting Belichick strikes fear in you. That's what these players need, fear is a great motivator. The lessons of Sun Tzu are tried and true principles.

The 7 seed walked in without a boom box playing Super Gremlin and curb stomped Dallas.

It's all about the Culture
