You ever see the VP of operations have his own show on the radio from any other team?
You're not answering the question.

Push your emotions to the side long enough to have a genuine conversation.

Whether or not a vp of operations has a TV show or not has zero to do with the subject of fear in players.

Mike is a damn good coach, but not when the organization acts like they’ve won something everyday. It’s embarrassing

Still nothing to do with original post.

But yes, Jerry is a problem. Other than Philly this year, who deserve the combo with the way they crumbled at end, what teams are openly discussing whether or not they are ready to fire the HC of a 3 season 12-5 playoff appearing coach?

He should of shut it down quick. He didn't. Fueled the fires.

Quick to talk McClay into staying and making that public but nothing about security of other coaches.

He is a meddler and loves the lime light.

But none of that has to do with instilling fear in players.

IMO the worst thing Jerry does is hire nice guys. Guys he feels comfortable drinking with. It creates a country club feeling.
Many of them have been smart coaches. No one doubts that MM and Quinn are smart football guys, but there is no fear.
Our guys are soft, emotionally and mentally. They gave up tonight. Same story for 30 years.

Two coaches that created an atmosphere of accountability were Jimmy and Bill. Jerry couldn't stand either for very long, but we need another one of those guys. I'm not sure if it's BB or Vrabel or someone else, but we need someone that will make Jerry and all of the team feel uncomfortable again.
It needs to change but it's 2024.....fear doesn't run teams no more.

We aren't going anywhere until the stars of the team become leaders...thats the culture issue. I won't hold my breath on micah/Diggs doing that. The defense will only succeed with a transcendent qb. With that being said. We won't do anything next year either buy I don't take these losses to heart anymore. I play fantasy, do some betting and have fun lol. But we're beyond weak on defense

Exactly why should players fear the head coach when Jerry Jones is their daddy

Fear like you are talking about fire and brimstone doesn't work on today's players. I don't know *** the answer is though.

Will never happen as long as a Jones owns this team. It’s fools gold to expect our drunken fuhrer to do anything different next year. Heads will roll, a new hc will be hired and given no power and will be micromanaged to death since “the fuhrer knows best”.

Trust me, it’s business as usual.

Back to the bash Jerry stuff. What organization is fear based? Lol. The problem is the players are soft on defense.......our qb isn't good enough to consistently win big games with no run game.......our run schemes suck. That's the issue. Has nothing to do with fear.
No it's about fear bottom line and money with Stephen Jones why should players fear getting traded or cut, because Jerry Jones is a daddy to the players, they don't study on their own after practice or hold players accountable and Stephen Jones won't spend to get impact veteran players like a Charles Haley or deion sanders, he wants to pocket the savings for himself not a championship or Superbowl, like Stephen said we like to do it our way since 1995

Like the poster asked. What team is fear based in the NFL? Let's get that out the way before continuing. Don't waste my time

Lather, Rinse, Repeat.
It doesn’t matter who coaches here while Jerry runs football ops. He has undermined every coach since Jimmy left.

I know and it’s so broken. It never had to be this way but no one expected an owner who puts winning way below playing fantasy football w his own team. IMO Jerry has given fans the finger for thirty years now.

Accountability at the top doesn’t exist and thus a very flawed foundation.

Need a furniture moving guy in the locker room, meeting rooms, and practice field. Team, as Gronk would say......"mentally soft".

Jerry is the problem. This is his child. What we need is an accountable GM, but we'll keep playing musical chairs pretending like everyone else is the problem.

Fear of failure.....its what drove Randy White

We need a culture of toughness, Parcels type players. Limit the "cheese" given to prima donnas
Ferguson has it, but no war daddy on D. Parsons can dissappear too easy.
