My guess is that Cundiff comes in tomorrow for a workout. If he looks good he's signed. BP always goes with the known commodity.

Let's see 2-2 FGs -- a long of 21 yards. No touchbacks on his kickoffs.

What exactly are you basing your judgement on? The kid hasn't done ANYTHING.

I have read that BP does not really like Cundiff, howeve, I say he is a better option then the young man we have .....although he has not really made any mistakes....I feel he is a mistake waiting to happen in a big game.....his leg looks really average to weak at best......

Cundiff is a proven kicker, while Suisham is not. He's a rookie, and his kickoffs aren't spectacular. Cundiff, while not possessing the strongest leg in the world, is pretty accurate.

I'll take accuracy over power any day. Just look at Cortez. He could boot the ball, but the guy couldn't hit the broadside of a barn.

Who, the kicker who still hasn't proven a damn thing? Cundiff has hit some big kicks, NYG game in our 10-6 season comes to mind, a 54 yarder to beat the Rams.

Suishman got very little hangtime on his kickoffs.

A big leg is great and all, but not when it comes at the expense of gimme FG's. That's Cortez problem, he was just inconsistant. Suishman is unproven. With this season meaning something, I don't wanna lose anymore games because of an opportunity missed to build on a lead

I say we stick with Suishem (sp?). Think about this - Why hasn't any other team picked up Cundiff yet??? It's been more than 10 games and he still is a free agent. I say we wait and see what this new guy can do and take it from there.

Don't get me wrong, Suishem still has a long way to go to prove ANYTHING to us Cowboy fans, especially with his accuracy and distance - which are of course VERY important in the FG department. If he starts to falter or miss easy FGs then we need to bring back Cundiff (for now).

FINAL POINT - We NEED to find a GOOD FG kicker!!! ASAP!!!

The only ways you bring Cundiff back RIGHT NOW is if we either CUT Shishem OR pick up Cundiff if we have an extra spot open on our active roster.

I just hope that we DON'T cut our current kicker and see what he's got because there is NO future with Cundiff. And I don't see any way we keep 2 kickers on our roster. Again, if our current kicker starts to play like Cortez, then WITHOUT question, we pick up Cundiff ASAP!
