Ro aint going no where.
He'll do his thang, be ready to play when it's time, and he'll make a critical play that proves why we kept him on the roster. Besides, Ro doesn't have anywhere else to go. Nobody's going to put up with his foolishness other than the Cowboys.

Jimmy Johnson may have had many character faults when he was coaching, but I appreciate him being honest about one thing - there is no such thing as "all people/players are treated the same". It doesn't happen in life, and it doesn't happen in football.

People have always been treated based on their worth or their contribution to any cause, and it's no different in football.

The Cowboys aren't stupid. They got a blue chip player off the scrap heap. They'll pay him cheaply and let him take his time to heal and get through his other problems. And when he comes back, he's going to make plays like few other linebackers can.

I think his teammates understand this. Some guys are just that way, and you have to deal with them in a way you don't deal with other players - which is why the Cowboys put up with Charles Haley's obscene behavior and foolishness.

And they'll do the same with Ro, even while Cowboys fans complain about the unfairness of it all.

Because I guarantee you, if Ro gets on the field, he's going to make some game-defining play that has you cheering, "THAT'S why we kept him on the roster!"

Watch.

Why do I expect that Ro is going to hit another positive test right after camp breaks?

Working on the side with a trainer is not considered practice.

Everyone involved has always said that players get worked a lot harder with Brit Brown than they do at practice and that they all would prefer to be given clearance to join practice.

“No timetable for Rolando right now, but he’s making progress,’’ Garrett said. “He’s out on the field doing some of that work with our rehab guys and we definitely think he’s getting better.’’ -JG on Aug. 10th.

Not encouraging enough?

Nate Newton was asked about that and he refused to speak on it.

I bet if they asked him a timetable on return he'd say the same thing. he's getting better making progress.

The only reason he's there is because he'd be fined if he wasnt. TC reported that the team and its Drs didnt even know what was going on with him until he actually showed up.

Fair enough, but you were speaking about coaches, and we both know Nate isn't a coach.

Mickey asked him about that, after saying he asked coaches about rolando and he got alot of blank faes and i dont knows

I know alot of people want him to make this team but he's not a good teammate. Hitchens can do all the things he can and he will play hurt. I want to see Wilson at the sam, Hitchens in the middle and Lee on he weakside.. Very athletic group

I can recalls when people questioned Beasley love for the game when he left camp and unsure about playing. Do not hear much talk of that any longer

Beasley's challenge wasn't love for the game. Beas was concerned he could not give 100% with other things going on in his life.
