Curious as to reactions about the game-winning catch

You'd think it would be harder for a guy who's 6'5 and 260 to be so sneaky.

I'm a pretty observant fan. HUGE witten fan, and somehow I never realized just how big he was until this post. For some reason I had it in my head that he was about 6'3. Obviously a solid build but damn. He's a monster

I'm the same size as Cole Beasley, whenever I see him next to guys like Witten or the OL or pretty much anyone out there besides Lucky, I'm amazed at the size of those guys in general. Since they are all monsters it's hard to get a feel for how big they actually are.

Witten stands next to the OL and he's just got less girth, they stand eye to eye. Some things list him as 6' 6", I don't know what his real measurement from the combine was, but he's gigantic.

Honestly, when Garrett went for it on 4th down I told my son this game is over. Football Karma must be served. Even if we had been stuffed, Garrett had to get rewarded for finally growing a pair.

Though I'll admit, on the pass to Witten I FULLY expected a flag somewhere.

My reactions were :
1. This is not happening -- no win is this easy
2. There must be a penalty -- Why would Witten BE THAT OPEN???!
3. IT HAS TO BE A BUSTED PLAY AND I DIDN'T HEAR THE WHISTLE.
4. JUBILATION BY COWBOYS PLAYERS -- My goodness, we won!!!

I was holding my breath in the moment. That earlier endzone pick had me very nervous. Then when Witten caught it I was equal parts "holy crap how was he so open?!!!" And "wow - Tony just telepathically inserted himself into Dak's body cuz that dip and spin move was vintage #9"...case in point:



Although Tony's example was a bit more spectacular at the time to be honest.

I was just filled with so much joy and happiness that I was at a loss for words. I couldn't believe it. I just sat there gazing at the TV thinking "that's my team right there"... so proud. Now when Dez caught the game-tying TD I went crazy. "LET'S GO!! THROW THAT X UP BOYY!"

It's funny, I was buying a used car this weekend at some dealership in the Dallas area and my salesman happened to be an Eagles fan. I went up there to look at the car on Saturday the day before the game and we were playfully joking with each other talking crap about each other's teams. I came back to purchase the car on Monday and I walk in there with all my Cowboys gear on to rub it in. And all the other salesmen there were mostly Cowboys fans and he was just getting roasted the entire time by everyone. It was great. Great guy though. Can't say that about most Eagle fans.

That's exactly what I thought.. Very Romo/R-Wilson -like with the roll one way then spin it back the other direction.

It was a strange play because the hit on Zeke was so distracting so I was seeing if there was going to be flag or if he was knocked out and then Dak peels back and you see him throw to a wide open Witten.. my reaction to the play was kind of like this.. (Zeke gets popped).."What the?.." .. you see Witten wide open.. "um..." ... wait 3-5 seconds for flags.. "Wow... Wow..." . I was happy for Witten after being quiet all night to be able to win the game on the day he set the team record. "That's pretty cool"
