Current cap space

Couldnt help but notice the Lions. The Lions already have a very good roster.
1 or 2 more defensive pieces along with some better health on defense this year is a pretty fair forecast of them doing well I would think.

But the division they're in has become so strong now too.
Vikings, GB and possibly even Bears improvement with new HC.

I thought the Cowboys were in the $50 million range. And don't they get rollover cap money from last season? Also, does this include the $9 million they just gained?

With the rollover they were around 2m over before restructuring Dak and Lamb!

This does not include that

$43.2 million is the same as Over the Cap. However, I noticed that Fowler, Anger, Sanborn, Turner, and Mukuamu aren’t showing in the calculations yet.

Sign Za'Darius Smith. Trade/Sign a #2 Wide reciever. Extend Micah. Cut Diggs.

They were, but with a few trades and other FA signings, as well, some of their own. It took some of that cap money. Still pretty decent shape though.

All I know is if they don’t completely nail this upcoming draft they are absolutely going to be a 4-6 win team for a while.

Can’t be draft only to improve team and flub (for the most part) three in a row.

Just think of all the backup guards, “rotational” DL and RBs averaging 3.6 yards per carry we can sign!
Nothing wrong with the backs they signed. They could possibly make the team and they aren't married to them. They could possibly sign a receiver or corner that could help them and could possibly make a trade. They are still likely to get a running back and dtackle in their 1st 3 draft picks.
