This offense is stuck in the mud. Can't drive for more than a touchdown a game for over a month. Doesn't bode well. You have a lot of faith in your team that's 12-2.

they did last week. Against a defense some were saying was playing just as good as the Giants the last month. They put up 450 yards of offense and dominated the top against them. This offense is stuck in the mud. Can't drive for more than a touchdown a game for over a month. Doesn't bode well.
They went to the conference title in 2013. Though they nearly choked the divisional to Seattle doing that.I've seen this song and dance with the Falcons over and over, they always look like world beater's in the regular season and come up small over and over in the playoffs. They haven't made the Conference Championship with Matty Ice who's nickname is appropriate because he goes cold in the playoffs. He would have to prove he could come up big and win a road game in Dallas to change my mind. He's 1-4 in the playoffs.

That is probably why Garrett has decided to ride them hard instead of resting them.I think it's fair to say the Cowboys aren't playing their best football right now.

They aren't unbeatable. They aren't great on the road and their defense is susceptible. With that said, their offense is an awful matchup for the Cowboys defense. Based on the current NFC playoff teams, it's probably the worst matchup on one side of the ball vs the other side of the ball(as in worst offense for the defense to face or worst defense for the offense to face). That's a scary proposition. I don't want to face them, but at the end of the day, it's the playoffs and you beat who is in front of you or you go home. How do you know this? Has any team put up 40+ against the Cowboys all year?
The opponent has to have possession of the ball to be able to score that many points. There simply aren't that many possessions with the way the Cowboys run their own offense. Add that the defense does tighten up in the red zone.
Atlanta's defense is easily the worst amongst playoff teams. Easily.
We would also be playing the game at home, so that should help.
I'm not saying it wouldn't be a tough game, but I certainly think that the Cowboys are capable of winning that matchup.
The Falcons have lost 5 games this year, so clearly some opponents have had the upper hand.

Well yeah, but a road game is a road game. I'm sure they would much rather be in Dallas' dome than the elements of GB, but of course they would rather be in their own dome. I'm not sure how big of an advantage it would be, but it would be an advantag. But on the road in Dallas is a pretty easy trip for the Falcons. They're still in their preferred dome environment.
Get them out in the elements in Green Bay or New York and it's a different situation.

I really can't fathom how anybody would call this a dream match up though. They are going to end up a top 10 scoring offense in NFL history and that's a dream match up? For the Cowboys defense with no pass rushers? I'll pass. Hopefully someone knocks them off, because that's the last team I want to see come playoff time.
Cowboys pass defense is ranked 28th in the NFL in yards allowed and 26th in opposing QB rating.
Atlanta's strength is probably the Cowboy's greatest weakness.
They drove for only one touchdown, just like New York and Minnesota.they did last week. Against a defense some were saying was playing just as good as the Giants the last month. They put up 450 yards of offense and dominated the top against them.
And still scored 26 points and would have been more if not for untimely penalties. They drove for only one touchdown, just like New York and Minnesota.
