Surprised by the Brandon Smith cut. I thought he looked like a real NFL WRs. I was sure they would keep him at least until Washington gets back. I hope the sign him to the practice squad. I can see him not clearing waivers.

But like the guys announcing the game Friday night pointed out, every team has players they are hoping clear waivers and every team wants their own guys back so in reality almost all waived players will clear waivers.

Team is going heavy on defense. Look for only 5-6 WR to make it

Disappointed with this one. Coyle has speed and can make some plays. But the Cowboys have depth at S so he is expendable. We'll see if he gets picked up. I think he will. I worry though that Mukuama is not for real, and Bell could be a flash too. We'll see.

Dowdle is proven on special teams. That is why

Davis has gone well there as well. In fact, it was Davis’ block that helped Turpin score.

No real surprises so far. I think we overestimate how many of these guys really might crack a 53 from another team.

I am glad to see that it looks like Hendershot will stay on - I think he can be a good rotational piece and depending on Schultz's next contract, a substantial contributor.

Shampklin I think ended up with a high ankle sprain. I'm not too worried about Davis - I think he'll clear waivers and be on the PS.

Agreed, but I think they want both, and Dowdle probably had a better shot to be claimed.

I'm confident we will see Davis on the PS, although he is always subject to poach if as teams lose RBs to injury.

Sucks for us because that position is going to need to be fully remade in the coming offseason. Having a guy like Davis around isn't the worst way to start.
