I believe we are at 69?

I read somewhere that, since all NFL teams will have played their last preseason games nlt Friday evening, the League moved the cut down date from Sunday (9/4/05) to Saturday (9/3/05 at 5:00 PM. Parcells in his PC stated he will meet with the team Saturday morning; assume it is either to talk to particular individuals about being cut/placed IR and congratulate those who made the team.

It has, but the PS players can not be signed until after all cuts are made and everyone clears waivers. And a team does not have to keep 8, only up to 8 players. Counts against the cap, set pay I believe, no over paying.

Gotta figure a WR gets cut. Maybe 2 depending on the Price situation. Right now, I'd say Crowder and Morgan.

One of Carson or Thomas Johnson probably goes.

Tucker might get the axe as well since carrying him would give you 10 OL and he probably wouldn't be active on game day.

That will get you to your 53.

Condo and Curtis to the PS. Maybe the loser of Jones/Thornton if eligible. Tarullo is a good bet as well. If Thomas Johnson gets cut, BP will try to add him. Someone might take a chance of signing him to the active roster though.

Now, on to another subject.....other teams' castoffs. OLB depth from 3-4 teams.....I smell another thread.

Can someone inform me about this. I know his knee is injured but is it really that bad to be put on IR

dboysfan, many here are speculating that Beriault's knee will require surgery. If it does, they can "stash" him on IR and look at him again next year.

Same goes for Ryan. I'm sure he would of been able to go in a couple of weeks, but they put him on IR to "Stash" him away till next year.
