Can someone inform me about this. I know his knee is injured but is it really that bad to be put on IR

It lets them keep him on the team without exposing him to waivers. The surgery will (hopefully) fix his knee up so that it won't be a problem for him in the future. The extra year in the weight room lets him get even stronger and better and next year Lynn Scott is out of here.

I'm thinking that Ogbogu is a little more of a security blanket for Parcells than most believe. He will be that emergency depth at both OLB positions.

When evaluating roster cuts his guys stay. He's a 265 pound OLB, DE pass rushing specialist. He's the 3-4 model.

Those man hating him have to look deeper at OLB that may not fit that mold. That may be where the cut is coming.
