With the talent that dude has, you can't turn your back on him. He was in Brees face all night. Look at the body of work, not just two plays. His teammates bailed him out and that is good enough for me.

No it isn't. He was stumbling and off balance and couldn't hold up. It sucked that it happened but physics is a mutha. The off sides was a ticky tack call on a huge play and in a close game. If he was offsides, it was by a hair and even the announcers said they've seen much worse that isn't called. I don't know how many pressures he had last night but I saw him in the backfield a ton and he read that reverse to Kamara perfectly, causing that play to be altered and likely preventing a huge gain.

The penalties sucked but he played a solid game.

He was clearly falling off balance and did not intentionally run into the kicker. I know, still a penalty but it wasn't such a knucklehead play as so many are saying. As for the offsides call, the video does not confirm that penalty so that should be taken up with the refs. I still appreciate you big guy.

Yes he had a bad game from a penalty standpoint, but he put serious consistent pressure on Brees all night. You don't just walk away from that, especially given how far they have gone to support him.

Why even try to go for the block? Just seal the edge to make sure the punter doesn’t run and be done. The game was almost over at that point and he gave them life.
