Whether McFadden stays or goes is of little importance. He has some value catching the ball coming out of the backfield. After that and the fact he is not in any kind of game shape makes him, more or less, redundant.

Cowboy's are just going to have to plain ol simple step up and win the battles. Otherwise we should all join in on the next year conversation like we been doing for decades now.

We wasted a roster spot for 2 years on this JAG

Draft a RB next year....we have 10 picks

Obviously he is number 3 on the depth chart and his style of running doesn't fit the zone scheme we run. Either bring in someone off someone's practice squad or go with Trey Williams from our practice squad as a 3rd down back.

Some scheme bs has been debunked...and why DMC, he was not the cause of the losses this year or especially yesterday. Cut half the team then. Oh here is a better idea, fire the entire coaching staff. Then we can talk.

I think people forget while McFadden is not a zone blocking runner, he is our best resort with Zeke gone at catching and blocking as a RB.

If we are to see more of Chaz Green next week, lets hope we decided to be crafty and run a pistol style with 2 RB's.

McFadden can block better than Swain and having 3 possible runners (including Dak), with the option of throwing the ball to McFadden.

McFadden would basically be subbing in for the 2nd TE with more versatility. Plus it is something Philthy has not seen or prepared for with us.

Just an idea.

Better then Swain?? Where did that come from. Subbing for the TE?? Where did that come from???. If McFadden was cut right now, no one would claim him off waivers.

Ok after watching the Falcons defense carve us up with Chaz playing left tackle, what do you think Dallas will answer with? Last week even with how bad Chaz played we wanted Cole Beastly on the field over the 12 package with 2 TE's.
Philly has played us many times and knows our 12 package as well as have a better defense then the Falcons. I think having 2 RBs would be more productive and change how we threaten a defense. You want to slow a pass rush from that side, why not bootleg into it with a RB by your side like in the veer? While that may only work a few times imagine it coming from both sides. These are things DMC and Dak can do well.

Sadly everyone forgets DMC did this in college and even during his few 1000yrd seasons, he was a great blocker for the QB. Regardless what anyone thinks DMC still has left in his tank, he offers something neither Smith or Morris have.

Anyhow instead of trying to make me look like a fool, which I do well enough on my own at times (lol), tell me a better idea to use vs Philly this weekend?

Garrett is a moron, see yesterday for most recent proof. McFadden got one bleeping carry and was met in the backfield. Wth is wrong with people? I bet he'd be fine given the opportunities Morris got.

You don't know that but, who would you claim? We would now only have two RB's if he's cut and McFadden is playing basically on the veteran minimum.

Ok, I've calmed down and got my morning coffee. I don't think we will have that problem this weekend because Tyron will be back. I think the offense will be fine with that adjustment. Dak is one tough dude, but getting hit on the blind side about 5 times will mess your psyche up big time. We lost that game on Sunday for two reasons, Green incompetence and Sean Lee getting hurt IMO. We were averaging 28 points a game for 3 weeks and we get held to 7. 28 and we would have won the game because they wouldn't have scored what they scored if we had had better time of position. I actually think we need to quit forcing the ball to Dez and hoping he can make the contested catch. If he's not clearly open go to your second read. Regarding our LB's, the drop off with Lee out is rather amazing. Rushing yardage for the other team doubles as a rule. Our backup LB's are not up to the challenge (proof is in the pudding as they say). Unlike Lee, they can't seem to sniff out the play and react instantaneously. Sad to say, but we truly are a 500 team right now with our lack of depth at key areas and our inability to be explosive in the passing game. We badly need some real speed on the outside, which we haven't had in years.

Alfred Morris is turd.
Utter turd.
His pass protection alone is reason to sit him.

I'm starting to think McFadden is on the team because Jerry mandated it, but Garrett didn't want him.

Rather than say no, Jason kept him and has just been torturing him all season.

Beyond the least of our problems. We made someone 750,000 in that game pretty much from monster sacks. We got bigger problems than a RB we have yet to utilize yet.
